We only allow dogs in our pet friendly rooms. One dog is free, but the second is an additional $25 one time. Please let us know if you are bringing a second dog.

Locally owned and operated The Sojourn is close to restaurants, the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. There are hiking and biking trails and regional clinics and hospitals just minutes away. You’ll love The Sojourn because of the convenient location and the quiet, comfortable rooms. Great base for exploring western South Dakota. Our suites are perfect for couples, families, solo adventurers, business traveler and traveling nurses. It also has a stocked kitchenette with dishes and cooking utensils, along with a fridge, microwave and stove. It is a little home away from home! There is coin operated laundry on site.

Notes

We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive anytime after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive we are near by.

We always stay at the Sojourn when we travel to Rapid to see family. The location and the fact it's pet friendly is our reason!

Good location- close to hospital

Little loud with the street so close and it being Memorial Day weekend but it was clean and right for the price.

It was a nice little apartment type of room. The pet area was.good. the bed was kinda hard and the floors were dirty n needed to be swept. Other than that the stay was good
