The old motor lodge re-invented! This unit is the old managers suite reinvented. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction.

Good deal
We really enjoyed it. It was easy to get the key, and return it. The location was the best. Many restaurant's close by, within walking distance if you want,but we liked the option of cooking at the apartment. We had everything we needed. All the things we wanted to see and do were not that far away. It was an awesome trip

Perfect place to stay for Rapid City
We had appt 118 directly in front of the complex. Lots of space and a very good kitchen. Very good beds , we slept excellent .
Despite being directly at the main street, it is not too loud, the d
Bedroom is in the rear.
The outside sitting area is also near the street, so somewhat noisy.
In the area there are the usual suspects for American food , but down the road is a good liquor store with food wine selection and in town good restaurants.
Definitely recommendable.

Chilly stay
Host was very responsive to messages. Was disappointed there was no hot water in the unit for the entire stay. There were no instructions on how to operate the heat, so first night was chilly.
Loved that there were supplies to make coffee provided in the room.
