This 60's home has been extensively renovated and boasts a fresh new look, upgraded technology, new appliances, three queen bedrooms each with Smart TV's, a 65" Smart TV with Theater Sound, and two crisp full bathrooms. Pair up your phone to the Bluetooth area speaker.

Have your morning coffee or end of the day drinks under the covered back patio. Seating and a gas fire pit are perfect for evening chats. Even though the location is in town, deer frequently travel from the back of the property and are a joy to watch. If you walk up the rear of the property, there is a modest horseshoe pit overlooking the back yard.

Amazing Stay

This property was perfect for our stay in Rapid City during the Sturgis Rally. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. We were able to use the garage for our 3 motorcycles and the owners were wonderful to work with. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would stay there again! Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful stay near tourist attractions

My family - including two young kids - took a road trip to South Dakota to visit the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and a few other tourist attractions in the area. This home was a perfect place for us. Very clean, conveniently located, easy access to anything you need for your trip in Rapid City, and good communication from the owner. Highly recommend this home as a base for traveling to all the great sites in the area!

Quaint Getaway

This home was beautifully decorated with new modern feel. The beds were very comfortable. The 2 levels was great for our family and in-laws staying together. The weather was too cold to enjoy the backyard. We would absolutely stay again next time we are in town attending in town events.

Crisp, Clean, Sophisticated and Inviting

This little diamond in the rough was a neat and clean with a sophisticated look that was still comfy and cozy for winding down at the end of each day. The area roads are a bit rough, but the place is easy to get to with businesses and restaurants nearby. The host is super nice and made quick responses. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

This home is wonderful. The hosts are responsive and have taken care of everything. The home has every detail covered. It is decorated well, spotless, and gives off warm vibes. National Parks vacation

This was the perfect spot to end our National Parks vacation! Close to downtown, and within an hour of all major attractions. Neighborhood was quiet and we loved visits from Penelope, the neighborhood cat! Place has all the basics plus extra touches like a firepit, indoor & outdoor games, laundry essentials, and a super cute coffee nook. The owner changed from time of booking and the contacts varied, but we always got the information we needed in a timely manner. We would stay here again!

Centralized location. Very well maintained and furnished home. Many amenities included. Well stocked kitchen with several unexpected goodies like coffee, popcorn and oatmeal! I would stay here again when visiting SD. Hosts were very accessible although never needed. Everything was perfect!

Deserves a 10

Every need was met before we even arrived at this home. It is great for 2 couples as there is 2 beds and a bath upstairs and 1 bed and bath downstairs. Beautifully decorated and everything we could have needed was supplied. Communication was great as well. The location is great for everything South Dakota has to offer. If Vrbo offered the option for a 10, I would definitely rate them a 10.

Cindy was so kind and accommodating. The house was the cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed in. You can tell they put thought into this home and thought of all the little things- laundry baskets, makeup towels, complimentary detergent pods and dryer sheets, TVs in all the rooms with moveable mounts, board games, fire pit, heated blanket, etc The decor was excellent and I really enjoyed the thought they put into this home. Thank you for letting us stay! We had a great spring break getaway exploring all the SD sites.

Absolutely wonderful stay!

What a wonderful house for our vacation to Custer State Park/Devil’s Tower/Badlands with my husband and senior parents! Super updated place, well organized and a very hospitable feel. The small touches and thoughtful amenities were very much appreciated. Television in every bedroom and in a common space to watch a movie together. Location was great if we needed to run to Family Fare grocery store (4 min drive) or grab takeout from Pauly’s pizza (4 min drive) or take out from restaurants downtown Rapid City. Host was incredibly responsive and communicative! Bonus, we had a young buck in the backyard that would visit every day.

Fabulous House!

I am a seasoned traveler usung VRBO often. This property does not dissapoint. We absolutely loved everything about the house. The decor, the cleaniless, the lighting, the communication, the convenientl location. Every space was immaculate! Beautiful kitchen, bathrooms, comfy beds, outdoor space. i cant say enough about every room, every detail in this house. My only complaint is we didnt get enough time to enjoy this house. Last leg of our trip and we only had 2 days. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you for your attemtion to detail above and beyond!!

Perfect!

This property was a home away from home. Our family consisted of 4 adults and 2 tweeners. This property was very comfortable, welcoming, and easily accommodated us. Three COMFORTABLE queen size beds and two full baths. TVs and fans in every bedroom. Everyone had their own space when needed. Air conditioning worked beautifully. We had easy access to a local grocery store and made most meals at home. The kitchen was fully equipped which I loved. My only suggestion would be a different set of pans as those that are present stick terribly! Our favorite spot was in the backyard where we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores. We played several matches of bags which were provided. Bring bug spray because the SD mosquitoes are vicious! We enjoyed the almost daily visits from Penelope, the next door neighbor's kitty. She greeted us when we first arrived! Zoey, the neighbor's dog was very sweet and never barked. The location of this property is perfect and it allowed us to have a fun and memorable vacation!

Very Comfortable, Impressive Interiors and so Homy!

We had a little challenge during booking because that was when we got caught in the middle of transfer of the property to the new owner. Thank you Cindy for your help. But we got the assistance that we needed to resolve the issue. Upon arrival and checking-in, it helped that Corry sent me a video on how the lock works. Getting in a homy house after a long drive brought much comfort and joy. The house was clean over all, the beds are comfortable and we had what we needed in the kitchen. Decor was impressive, just exactly as shown in the photos. We enjoyed the fire pit at the back porch! I loved the heater in the bathroom coz I'm always cold. lol The coffee nook and the fan in every room are the winners! The only tiny thing are fans were dusty and needing some cleaning but over all stay was fabulous! And one more thing, the day on our check out we had a flat tire as soon as we got out of the driveway. We ignored the tire being low pressure a night before so it helps to be closer to the airport too.

Three Amigos Hoefer House Stay 2023

This property was ESCELLENT, the owners thought of everything to make the stay feel like staying at the Waldorf Astoria!! It was elegant, clean, roomy, 3 bedrooms two baths and all the amenities so if you were to only show up with a change of clothes and a toothbrush, everything else you need for a comfortable stay is already there. TV & wall fans in every room, a den, a living room, well stocked classy kitchen, towels, coffee & creamer, washer, dryer, coolers for the beach, back yard games, grill & fireplace (Gas included) and outdoor elegant setting for 7 to enjoy a night cap. The parking and garage accommodated two pickup trucks, two trailers, and 3 motorcycles comfortably. There is so much more I am leaving out but, believe me when I say - I have stayed at over 10 VRBOs across the country and this by far was THE BEST. The house is a 60s style build but, has been updated with the lates everything! the house is deceivingly roomy inside. It has two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs and one bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Also included downstairs is a den and laundry room. The neighborhood was good, and neighbors were quiet and pleasant when we encountered each other. Close to downtown. My two friends who included a Personal VA Consultant and a Medical Doctor could not stop raving about the property. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay and have asked me to book it again for next year. Friends also threatened me with bodily harm if I did not leave the most favorable review!

I can’t say enough good things

This property is CLEAN. Cleanest home I’ve ever stayed at through VRBO. You can tell the property owner takes pride in this home. Loved seeing the deer pass through the yard and we even had a visit from Penelope! We visit Rapid often and will not hesitate to rent this property again.

Awesome home

Stayed 6 nights at this wonderful house. The little special touches were awesome, like the welcome etched into the rug downstairs. It was a great central point to everything we went to see in the area. We loved Penelope the neighborhood cat and watching the deer in the mornings and evenings on back porch.

Perfect location to airport and all points of interest!! Huge mule deer visited us daily. Home was comfy and cozy. Cindy was a perfect host. Porch life was great with gas fire pit. Quiet neighborhood. Nice grill area for cook out. We had everything we needed and more. Perfect spot. Thank you!!
