"This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!"

"Ocean Breeze Beach Resort is an incredible place to stay in Placencia. The entire staff is AMAZING and made our stay truly special. We can't thank them enough for making us feel at home on our vacation and ensuring we had everything we needed. The hotel is very clean and in a great location to experience all Placencia Village has to offer. Even if you don't stay there, be sure to visit Jolly & Mel at Toucan Jack's Tiki Bar!"

"There were 15 people in our group. We had a great time. Albert Bolona, the bartender was the best. The chef, Sam, did an incredible job. The boat ride to and from the island was a little torturous with getting wet. No air conditioning but the breeze always blowing made it manageable."

"Julia’s Cabanas was a convenient spot, located on the beach and near lots of small shops, bars, and restaurants. We loved the ocean view and the spent many days in the hammock on the porch. Shelly and Ty were very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely recommend as an affordable option that is centrally located on the south part of the island. The rooms are not glamorous, but have all your basic needs.
