"Host was very respectful and responsive- we had great communication- I loved the big yard - the house is located in an older neighborhood but back room are very quite- front bedroom u can hear train nearby but no issue for us -there is no house on either side so plenty of parking since it hold 10 - the only inconvenience is the common restroom is between two bedrooms but that was not an issue for us either - it’s very spacious i would definitely stay there if in the area - the backyard setup is very nice - "

"Convenient location, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the freeway. Friendly and helpful host. Great layout for sharing with multiple families and kids. Outside patio area was great. Plenty of room in the kitchen for meal prep. Fun game area upstairs for the little ones."

"Perfect place for us! Needed a place in Converse and stumbled upon this one. House was clean, had everything we needed and plenty of room for our group. Highly recommend. "

"Home and amenities not maintained. Amenities listed weren't there. No desk chair, no iron, no coffee pot, no toaster. Very few table setting dishes, utensils, serving dishes, coffee mugs. For a home that advertises it sleeps 7 it seems very poorly managed to have 3 coffee mugs, 3 plates, 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days and one roll of paper towels. Also, not one hand towel in bathrooms, no wash cloths, and no bar soap in either bathroom.There was a water softener system but it wasn't working and neither was the RO system at kitchen sink. The refrigerator had an ice maker that wasn't working. It didn't appear to be hooked up. The house was in okay working order but needed maintenance as did the deck which was nothing but a liability. Boards were warped so badly it was dangerous. Toilet in primary bath leaked at the base. Back door leaked after the rain. Thank goodness there were 6 bathtowels because we had to use 3 of them to soak up water. Hostess eventually answered our messages and calls after our disappointing check-in and agreed to bring us a toaster, coffee pot, a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and 2 bars of bathsoap. She had it delivered within the hour. It's just common sense to me that if someone gives you a bad review regarding lack of amenities perhaps you should correct the issue. She obviously cares for her guests the same way she cares for her home, or not. We took many pics which I will not likely post unless I need to."

"The Exchange was a lovely, nostalgic home environment for my out-of-state guests; perfect location, meeting our needs.My guests did have a few hiccups with the additional bedding options provided. However, the guests suggested some, hopefully, useful feedback which was very openly acknowledged through excellent communication with Ron Henry.All stated that they would definitely stay at The Exchange again in the future!"

"We planned a trip to San Antonio to visit family and friends and decided to try a rental using VRBO. When we arrived at the house we noticed broken blinds through the front window which did not make a great first impression. When we opened the front door I could immediately see the kitchen window had a horizontal crack, when I went up to photograph the damage I seen dried food stuck to the floor in front of the stove, my wife inspected the bathroom and bedrooms and witnessed stained linen along with live and dead bugs on the floor of the bedroom. I also noticed the furnace filter closet was partially open, when I opened it I seen dirt dust and hair around the filter, after inspection of the filter it was dirty and water soaked. This house was damaged and filthy and needs repair before ever being listed again. I immediately asked for a full refund of 803.50 however, I was only given a partial payment of 639.03. I asked both VRBO and the renter for a full refund but am being told by the renter that Is up to VRBO to refund the full amount and by VRBO it’s up to the renter to refund the full payment. Renter beware!"
