"Overall, our stay was fine. We were put off at check in by the hotel policy to charge fees for early check in. We showed up at about 2 pm and thought we’d see if our rooms might be ready. There was only one car in the lot and the hotel seemed not busy. The clerk told us that our rooms were ready but the hotel policy was to charge $40 for early check in. In fact, they display prominently a sign that early check in would be charged $40 from 10am- 3pm, $75 from 6am to 10am, and the full day charge to check in prior to 6 am. Also, it was slow and involved for us to check into two rooms. I had booked two rooms under the same name. It seemed impossible to charge two rooms to the same card, so we had to go through this entire (and slow) process twice to get us into our rooms and two credit card charges. We also asked for rooms next to each other. We got rooms 204 and 205, which sound like they might be next to each other, but they were on opposite sides of the hall and about three doors away from each other. The rest of our stay was fine, our rooms were as expected, clean with decent beds and amenities. Breakfast was reasonable."

Warm and cozy yet very spacious 4- bedroom home in Lubbock

"It was fine for what we paid. I would have been upset if we paid more though. Gnats around all the faucets so went and got some Zevo plug ins. Stove was dirty and so was the coffee pot. Ended up just buying a cheap coffee maker to use instead. Porch light was out so went and got two new light bulbs and replaced myself. Also, missing lightbulb in the kitchen. Bathrooms were very clean. Bedrooms clean although ceiling fans were dusty. Pet friendly but my little dog kept finding thumb tacks on the floor that had fallen off the strings of lights on the living room wall I'm assuming. Overall fine for a reasonable price, however the place needs some improvements for sure. Neighborhood is older but fine. Just know what you're getting. This place worked for us for the money. "
