Relaxing hotel, great base for Montelbano sights

We stayed at this hotel in late September. All the staff were welcoming and courteous and the facilities just what we needed for a quiet stay as a couple. Everything was very clean, food was varied and it was just the location we were looking for. Mostly we ate in the town as we enjoyed the variety of local foods and the passiagatta (masses of families and friends walking around). We hired our own car and found this a great base to see many of the Montalbano locations - Scicli, Punta Secca, Sampieri beach are all fairly easy. There is car parking within the hotel which was important for us, and it was great we could see our car from our room. We didn't make use of the spa treatments so can't comment but everyone seemed very relaxed.

Nice hotel short walk to beach

The hotel is brightly decorated and looks fresh and clean at first. However tiles and bathrooms at closer look are chipped and worn. The towels are fresh and changed frequently. The bathroom floor and the balcony did not get mopped in a whole week. There had been leaves and blossom on the balcony the whole time. The staff were very friendly and public areas maintained very well. The owner was available and very accommodating.

Buon hotel

Un buon hotel con piscina enorme (forse la più grande della zona) pulitissima, presenza anche di vasca idromassaggio. L hotel è vicinissimo al mare (ha un lido a pagamento) e alla passeggiata sul lungomare, non serve quindi l'automobile, buon parcheggio. Presenza di una SPA a pagamento (massaggi, bagno turco e sauna). Buona la colazione.
