"very bad smell throughout the entire floor hallway and the rooms smelled disgusting… The staff was very friendly, and when I reported the smell, they attempted to help recognized. It was horrible, but put a little spray which you did hardly anything at all and only for a couple of minutes."

"Breakfast was excellent. Must try to recreate ricotta and onion breakfast item, it was spectacular. Giuseppe at reception when we checked in also went above and beyond. Loved his warm welcome. The room was lovely, didn't hear much noise from the street, and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend others stay here."

"Beautiful property with incredible hosts. Our stay was incredible. Amazing, historic property, with hosts that make you feel at home and give you an authentic Sicilian experience. Breakfast was amazing with a delicious variety of local items. It was nice to be able to have amazing conversations with our gracious hosts and feel like we came away with a better understanding of the place (and people) we were visiting. Our room was impeccable, with beautiful views to wake up to. Would gladly stay again and highly recommend! "

"This is an obvious “10” in all categories. Good location, elegant rooms, comfortable beds, helpful staff, very good breakfast (I just wish they’d make the cappuccino with fresh milk). Note that free parking is available within 100 meters."

"Wonderful stay. Loved breakfast on the balcony felt very pampered. Very kind and thoughtful hosts. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Beautiful view of Ibla from balcony room 1. Our favourite town in Sicily. Great location easy walk to everything. "

"Centrally located, quiet, safe and comfortable, this is a great place to stay when visiting Ragusa. The rooms are beautifully remodeled and located within UNESCO buildings along a pedestrian streetscape. The communal grounds are amazing with beautiful gardens, a great pool (although unheated), and views of the surrounding area. A very nice breakfast is served in their communal breakfast room overlooking the gardens. The main town square is just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking and driving in this hill town can be a little tricky but street parking was fairly easy to find adjacent to the hotel. Highly recommended."
