A quiet place to stay.Historic building beautifully restored into a stunning accommodation without detracting from its History. The Red Cow Inn itself full of exposed beams, excellent friendly staff and an award winning menu."

"The room was very clean and the house is silent. The TV turned on by itself, which is a bit unusual. I enjoyed my time there, and I will definitely stay again if I am in the area—very good host and very attentive to our needs."

"The host, Verity, was very friendly, and we found the cupboard well stocked with all kinds of teas and coffees. There was also some food and milk already in fridge. The bathroom with walk in shower is a good size and nicely decorated. The room, though smallish was well laid out with good quality furniture, a very comfortable bed, and the patio to sit out on in the garden was lovely. There is also a seating area for guests in the little conservatory with information leaflets and maps. the weather was warm and sunny, so we mostly sat out when at the property. Being a smallish space the cooking facilities were limited to a kettle, microwave and toaster but these folded away really nicely in the cupboard and were totally adequate for our needs. The local pub does excellent food, perfectly cooked. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Very clean and very comfortable, with very good air conditioning - very welcome on the hottest day of the year! My only criticism is the booking process guidelines are not clear and the online system needs improvement. It was not made clear that we would not receive the email with access instructions until the security process was completed and the deposit paid. Then, when trying to pay the deposit, it was not clear that Amex was not accepted and the system just said "declined" right at the end of the process. So we had to make a couple of calls to the 24/7 helpline to clarify check-in which was annoying, although they were very helpful. We would definitely stay again as the rooms were fabulous, but for first-time guests the process should be clearer."

"Plenty of space and privacy, well equipped house. We spent a long weekend in Cambridge and based ourselves at the house. Nice big garden, nice hot tub and plenty of space inside for the three children (13, 11 and 7 years old) to play. Would be a suggestion to have all the keys labelled for all the doors and then a central key box/hooks, so the keys are not just left in the door locks - this would make the property more secure. Overall a very good stay and thanks to James for the support and the welcome gifts of chocolate and prosecco. "
