"​We felt incredibly lucky to find The Orchard Hotel after a terrible experience at another local property forced us to move out late in the evening. It turned out to be an absolute blessing in disguise, and this will absolutely be our hotel of choice for all our family visits to Nottingham from now on. ​From the moment we arrived, we loved everything about it. The cleanliness was absolutely spotless, and the overall style and design of the hotel are beautiful and contemporary. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which was exactly what we needed after a stressful evening. To top it off, the breakfast was fantastic. ​The only minor downside is that we would have loved for the swimming pool to be located directly within the hotel itself rather than over at the sports centre, but it didn't take away from an otherwise wonderful stay. ​Thank you to the team for turning our weekend around, we can’t wait to come back! "

"Reserved a twin room. The first room that we were assigned had not been cleaned and there was water all over the bathroom floor from where someone had a shower. Given another room. Thought it had been cleaned but upon turning covers back at night found the bed with sheets all messed from someone else sleeping in it and they were dirty. It had not been cleaned. At night no one mans the reception and you have to phone someone to come out. Decided to check out early and ask for a refund. Place very dated. Lights in room not working. Room door handle nearly falling off. Windows glazing blown so full of moisture inside. Part of ceiling missing in hallway outside room. Breakfast advertised as continental but wasn’t. Lack of staff around. Spoke to another guest there and he said he had to be given a different room as his room hadn’t been cleaned either. Do not go to this place at all!"

"We were there for just two nights and decided to go eco, i.e. no maid service. This have us more flexibility to use our room when we needed. A most relaxing stay."

"Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Sadly room was really cold, heating not on at all so had to plug in a radiator. Good breakfast and again helpful staff"

"Rooms not as big as the pics. Drainage in sink and shower poor. Toilet leaked and it’s pretty noisy. Not sure how it has 4 stars. 2 tops"

"While on Hotels.com states free WIFI, worth noting that it is only free if you sign up to Hilton rewards program and then it is not easy to get on the WiFi, else they want to charge £14.99 per day when most hotels provide free WiFi."
