"The rooms were renovated recently and it's very clean and quiet. I'm trying to learn Italian, so it was wonderful how patient they are as I tried. And they switched to English when they could tell I needed it. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. One late night I returned with a bottle of wine, the kitchen closed, and they could not find a corkscrew. They went across the street to a restaurant to find one for me. I was nervous about the proximity to the rail station, but the trains are electric and I didn't hear a single one the entire week. When I visit family, this is my new hotel of choice!"

"Great location but the property description was not accurate. It says that the upper floors are reached via steps. The entire property must be reached via steps and a step path. There are many steps to reach any part of the property and it is not suitable for anyone who cannot walk up about 100 steps to reach the house. It is important to remember that everything needs to be carried up the steps including luggage, food etc. The view and aspect is very scenic and this is the key positive of the property. The shower rooms for 3 of the bedrooms are very tight and you need to stand in the shower (with the bidet nearly under you) when using the shower. Several household items such as the washing machine and the kitchen appliances need upgrading as they are not really working properly.The hosts were helpful."

"The terraced garden and sea view are spectacular. The garden is beautifully maintained and varied with different terraces and seating areas. The property feels quite private even though there are other houses close by. The house itself is basic but very comfortable for a couple. It was clean and bright. The host Emilio and his sister Raffaella were very helpful and responsive. When we asked to be shown how to get into the sea to swim, which requires a degree of agility, Raffaella and her mother came on Sunday morning to show us. Once you're over the rocks and in the water the swimming is lovely. We went to a nice fish restaurant just five minutes walk away."
