One of our guests favourite aspects of this home is the view. Step out onto the front deck with a fresh cup of coffee (courtesy of the fully automatic espresso machine) and enjoy stunning views of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. On warmer days, open the glass doors completely and let the outdoors in.

Or from each bedroom’s deck, enjoy the calm serenity of the forest and creek. There’s plenty of privacy so leave the blinds open and wake up gently to the sound of birdsong while taking in the view.

The home’s four large bedrooms offer private, peaceful spaces for guests to recharge and relax. Each thoughtfully-designed room offers a comfortable super king bed, three of which can be reconfigured into two single beds upon request. All beds are triple sheeted with luxurious linens for ultimate comfort.

Each room has plenty of storage space, so you can unpack and settle in for your stay. The 4th bedroom has a desk and LCD screen to plug into your laptop if you need to catch up on work. Whether you’re an early or late riser, you can adjust the blackout blinds to suit your needs.

There’ll be no need to queue for the bathroom, as each bedroom has its own fully tiled ensuite bathroom with shower. Each bathroom is modern, clean, and bright, with fresh towels, a hair dryer, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Heated floors and towel rail finish it off nicely.

There are two bedrooms on each level, and all of the rooms have direct access to a deck; open up the bi-fold doors and enjoy the beautiful view of the stream and forest. There’s no better way to wake up in the morning!

Unlimited, high-speed WiFi makes it easy to stream content or work remotely. The home also has an in-unit washer, dryer, and ironing facilities for free guest use.

Bringing little ones? For your convenience you’ll find the following items in the house:

This is a three-storey house with stairs so may not be suitable for some people.

Towels and bed linen are included in the rate for this property. A good initial supply of toiletries, cooking essentials and coffee beans are also provided for your use.

All rooms will be configured as super king beds unless the twin single option is requested. Note that if this booking is made less than 48 hours prior to arrival we may not be able to change the bed configuration.

Saint's Hillside Retreat employs professional cleaners and laundry services. The cleaning fee covers cleaning and laundry services, however the home should be left in a reasonably tidy condition after your stay. Should the home require excessive cleaning (eg dirty dishes, stains) additional charges may be due.

We understand that breakages and accidents do happen. We won’t ‘sweat the small stuff’ such as the odd piece of glassware, dinnerware or fair wear and tear. Damage to the property, amenities of furnishings caused by negligence will result in the cost being on-charged. We ask that guests report any damage to us when it happens.
