Check in was easy, location was great, decor was beautiful & had all the amenities needed and more, very clean, the king size beds were very comfortable & communication with the host was great.
We stayed in the property for 3 nights. We all found the cat theme very amusing and the owners played that up well. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. When we checked in there were still dirty dishes in the dishwasher which is why we rated cleanliness as 4/5. While we got used to the road noise after one night, it should be noted that this property is right next to a somewhat busy street. You hear a fair amount of noise while in the apartment, keep this in mind while considering renting. Overall our experience was great!
Well equipped apartment. Beds were comfortable. Nicely decorated. Hosts kept in touch and were very responsive. Only 10 minute drive to Old Quebec. Parking near the citadel is only CA10 for the whole day. Close to the Ille de Orleans, Mountmorency falls and Saint Anne de Beaupre Basilica. The Sunday Farmers market in Limoilou was a pleasant surprise find.
We had an amazing stay, and the property was adorable and very comfortable. The property was located super close to everything we wanted to do (Montmorency Falls, Old Port, the museums/aquarium). Our host was very responsive and helpful. We will be back for sure. Thank you!
Spotless, charming little place a few minutes drive from old Quebec City. Plenty of space. Within a few minutes drive to a riverside walking trail where you can bring your dog. The only downside is the street noise from the front bedroom where you can hear the cars driving by on the street. Helpful hosts. Thanks for a comfortable stay!
Super cute place. Great location. Loved walking to grocery store and close (15 minute) drive to Old Quebec. Parking out front was convenient. Outside not much to look at but inside was clean and neat. I can sleep thru tornado but the street noise could be a thing if you are a light sleeper. I didn’t love the edict to wash and put away dishes from dishwasher but understand that folks are not as neat as we might be so we complied. I would be happy to load and start the cycle but seems like for the price paid that the cleaners could put away when they come in. Minor but still rubbed me the wrong way. Overall great stay and would stay again….great communication with host.
The stay was a pleasure. Terrific location. 5 minutes from Old Quebec. Measured up to the listing. An eclectic mix of old and new. An astonishing collection of antiques. Would stay there again.
Exactly as advertised. Very cute little property that’s only a 10 minute drive or so to the main shopping/restaurant area of the city, as well as Old Quebec. Very close to Montmorency Falls as well. It was pet friendly for our two dogs. The cat themed decor is adorable. The kitchen/bar area is nice, the antiques are a nice touch, and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. The immediate area is not the most scenic, but that may be due in part to us going in early spring when nothing had bloomed yet. You do hear a bit of traffic from cars as this is right on the corner of two roads. In walking distance of a nice little grocery and several beer and wine shops. Host was very responsive.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Positives: The host was an excellent communicator (quick and clear); it was quiet at night; the house has an electric car charger which I appreciated.Negatives: The house felt a little dark and not very clean. We are not sure our sheets had been washed -- the sheets on both beds had hair on them. When I told the host, he did not offer to send someone over to change them. We changed them ourselves. The listing says there is a Keurig; there is not. Most vrbo houses leave coffee or tea or even a bottle of wine or small treat. This place had nothing but salt & pepper & olive oil. There were strands of dust hanging from the bathroom ceiling and a spider in one corner. The host sent a reminder to wash, dry and put our dishes away before leaving; we did, but honestly, after the dirty sheets, I was surprised he sent that kind of reminder. One other thing -- there is nothing in walking distance, not a cafe or little store or anything other than a shady looking liquor store. We did not try the hot tub.
