"The rooms were lovely and the staff was fabulous, the valets especially went out of their way to help us. We adored the family room with the bunk beds, such a great idea for families traveling with young children so we could all be together but have designated space for everyone to sleep. A 3 minute drive to the quaint village of Luss and the local shops and restaurant made this hotel the perfect place to stay. The rooms were spacious with easy access to the beach and the restaurant served excellent food! We definitely would stay here again!"

"I stayed here for two nights by myself. The guy who owns the place is friendly and put on a nice continental breakfast (salmon, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and brewed coffee). The bed was comfortable too. The building and furniture are pretty dated though and in need of upgrading. My room door lock was also temperamental. However, that said it was clean overall and the host mentioned he’s actively renovating, which is good to hear as it’s got potential to be a beautiful building...

"Gorgeous view across Loch Long, peaceful location and the cottages nicely spaced so you feel alone. Beds comfortable and log burner so great nights in front of the fire. I would only add the condiments are in sachets so we bought our own olive oil and butter from a local supermarket in Dunoon, so if you like to cook you might want to bring some items with you. Definitely will return."

"We recently stayed at Fern Cottage and have to say that the cottage is in a stunning location. It sits only a few feet from the edge of the loch and is surrounded by beautiful forests. Great for dog walking! The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful and we had everything we needed. We treated ourselves to a meal at The Ardentinny restaurant/pub and it was excellent. The customer service was very good. If you love being surrounded by nature then this is a great cottage to visit."

"A beautiful cottage in a beautiful location - perfect for an escape of peace and quiet. Easy access to Dunoon and only a short ferry ride and train ride from Glasgow. Situated right next to the loch with seals and dolphins to be seen - as well as the occasional submarine! Very quiet location for quiet nights and a log burner to keep it cosy and warm."
