"The space was clean, warm, and welcoming! The view was gorgeous and my group was so enamored with the area. The lake was so pretty and we were visited every morning by a pair of ducks! Kitchen was well equipped for cooking up meals. The laundry and available towels made our trip to the Sol Duc Hot Spring easy and comfortable! We had a fantastic time, and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The driveway is a bit steep, so drive with caution! But there is ample parking on the main road so it wasn’t a concern for those with less robust cars! Easy check in and check out as well. We would love to return and would highly recommend!"

"We loved staying here!! A little trouble getting in was a bummer because the VRBO app wouldn't load the information and kicked us out several times and we had spotty coverage, so would recommend people to screen shot the directions before you get to the property. Otherwise, the place was lovely and we LOVED meeting with Blue the dog and Don was a great host!! Very communicative and helped us out when we got lost! "

"The views were amazing. The house was completely clean. My wife doesn’t normally sleep well at these places, but she slept great (beds were great). The floors didn’t creek at all, and I can’t overstate how nice that was with three kids sleeping around the house! Getting canoes down to the water was a little tricky but not too bad, and the photos prepared us for what to expect. The kitchen area didn’t have great lighting, which was fine but a little inconvenient. The downstairs kids’s bedroom (3 beds) was cold. We asked the host how to get the heater to work down there (each room had its own heat), and effectively were told to just use some of the extra blankets, which wasn’t great. Heat in the rest of the house worked. Otherwise, enjoyable trip."
