The condition of the outside of the hotel was so poor with the scaffolding, we weren't going to eat there. The kitchen closed at 7 pm. There seemed to be no breakfast service. Very basic, my room was clean, and the bed comfortable and linen clean, but no pictures, very poor paint and fairly noisy. Definitely not going back I'm afraid.

Good value stay in triple room

Good size room, very comfy bed. Staff friendly but somewhat convoluted online check in. Water pressure was low but sufficient. Sadly no breakfast on offer currently as place is being refurbished. But in spite of the issues, I will be back when I'm in the area and see what it's like after the refurb is complete.

Staff all very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean in need of renovation throughout. Outside of hotel being worked on at present so didn't look great but staff apologised for this didn't change our stay. Overall happy with our stay and would stay again.

So it wasn’t expensive for the London area… however, pictures weren’t the same as it looks online as the building it massively under construction. Parking is very debatable and was unsure about if I’d have wheels on my car when I came out in the morning, mainly because of the drunk and rowdy locals in the bar downstairs. The room itself was clean, but old and in need of upgrading - needs a new bathroom, carpets and a lick of paint. We went elsewhere for dinner, as it didn’t look appropriate for my 12 year old. Overall probably wouldn’t stay again, but as I said, it was cheap.

Room with a view

Good value accomodation. Helpful staff, lovely view of the river. Would have preferred carpet on the floor, not distressed and uneven floorboards. Very comfortable bed. Basic but clean. Would stay here again.

Meh, Not Worth The Hype

Not gonna lie, the floor was basically a crumb buffet, and the window? Yeah, cracked. Whole room felt like it was holding its breath—definitely screaming for some air con. Kinda annoying that if you want a bathtub, you’re stuck on the first or second floor in the second building. What’s up with that? The “cottage room” isn’t anything to write home about either. Just a shower cubicle, and honestly, you’d better not try squeezing in there with anyone else unless you want to get real close, real fast. Oh, and the bar? Hope you brought your wallet, ‘cause drinks are pricey. On the bright side, staff were super friendly and helpful. At least someone’s bringing their A-game.

A good value place to stay

The room is very spacious with a great view of the Thames and Bathroom has a nice bath and show.Its a little dated but works perfectly with plenty of hot water and TV large and positioned well.For the price they sell the rooms it's a bargain with Breakfast extra for £7 another great price.The pub also on the night I stayed had karaoke but not food.So brought a takeaway away as plenty in the area

This hotel was fine for 1 night stay, the room was spacious . There wasn’t any hot water in the bathroom. The car park isn’t big enough for everyone who stays at the hotel

The room with a view of the river was pleasantly surprising. The shower was very basic and needed a little more oomph and either the shower screen wasn't fit for purpose or there was a leaky pipe under the bath but there was always a puddle of water around the toilet and bath. Overall the room provided a good stay for a good price, would stay again if the bath/shower was sorted.

Give this place a chance! Yes the property is undergoing much needed and significant restoration, but the staff are amazing, the food is good, the rooms are clean, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the showers are nice hot. Its tatty and rough and ready, but if you look past that and drink in the lovely views across the river it wont disappoint. This place is going to be a go too venue in a couple of years. Its also a great location for access to the Excel exhibition centre only 20 minutes down the road. I'm going back in 2 weeks!!

If you dont get there by a certain time, its difficult to get a parking space as car park fairly small. Room I was in could do with the tv closer. It was across opposite side of the room. But overall a good nights kip.
