"Our family of 5 had an amazing stay at Velas Vallarta! The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Marcelino at Andreas for outstanding service, Edwin at the beachside restaurant, and Antonio for taking such great care of us by the pool. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible variety of gluten-free food. Every meal had plenty of delicious options, making it one of the easiest vacations we've had with dietary restrictions. This is truly an all-inclusive resort. The only thing we signed for our entire stay was room service—no surprise charges. The grounds are beautiful and full of wildlife. We loved seeing the peacocks, raccoons, and fish, and the gift shop even sells fish food, which was a fun activity for the kids. The beach was very clean, although the water is too rough for swimming. The main pool always had activities going on throughout the day, so there was never a shortage of entertainment. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend Velas Vallarta to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly resort with incredible service."

"The only thing I can really complain about is the Wi-fi signal that is very weak and can hardly give you access to the internet. Also, their business center has computers are that are so old it me 20 minutes just to start it and get into my accounts. Also, they only provide coffee and water on the first day of arrival as a welcome. For the rest of your stay you have to get your own. Otherwise, everything was excellent.!!!!"

"The staff is amazing and very helpful. The pool area needs some maintenance. I think there need to be some more explanation of procedure prior to arrival so we can be better prepared. When we areived they requested names be assigned to each room, this could have been done ahead of time. They requested an ID for each person inclunding the children. They asked for curp numbers for Mexican citizens and passports for each adult, they copied these documents. It took 45 minutes for us to check into 3 rooms. I feel all this could have been done ahead of time. The food was good, the rooms very clean and the staff was very nice. The spa was definitely different then any spa I have ever been to. No a lot of privacy so just be aware. Overall we had a good stay."

"Everything was great! The only issue we had was on the first day when we checked in. They sent us to the sales team, where they tried to get us to attend a breakfast the next morning so they could sell us a hotel membership. They were really persistent about it. We were tired after our flight, but they kept us there for about an hour trying to get us to sign up for the “90-minute breakfast.” We even had to fill out a form saying we would attend before they would let us leave and give us our room keys. Of course, we didn’t go the next morning. They even called our room several times the next day, saying we were on the list to attend. That was pretty annoying. Other than that, everything else was great!"

"Staff was awesome no complaints there, always very attentive. I was disappointed on the pool size/available chairs for the size of the hotel. Would have loved having more areas with shade especially along there beach chairs that had none. There is a second pool in the pictures of the hotel, as well as the cabanas, that appear to be an amenity for regular guests, however you need to be part of there club at an extra cost- this was misleading in my opinion. The beach view and access was beautiful and always felt safe. Finally, would have loved an easier snack option available not requiring to get out of your bathing suits again. That’s why I am rating it overall 3.5."
