We did not have a room with a view but many rooms have full view of the citadel. The only minor issue was the room was a little too tight with not much room for our luggage. We recommend this hotel. "We had a beautiful, large room with a canopy bed. All the furniture was elegant and antique in style. We had a huge bathroom with double sinks. The room came with robe and slippers. Our room was on the second floor reached by a spiral stone staircase. They brought our luggage to the room. Dinner is available and we enjoyed our meal in a stone walled room. Breakfast was served there too. It has a lovely courtyard where they served drinks. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend staying here. "

"I booked this hotel at the last minute and was extremely pleased with my choice. The hotel lobby was large, clean, and inviting, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Our room was large and clean, and the bathroom sparkled. The accommodation was excellent! The downside however was the restaurant. Our dinners were expensive, bland, and the choices were limited at the buffet counter. The service was good, which helped mitigate an otherwise negative experience. I highly recommend this hotel, but would suggest dining elsewhere. "

"The Chaumiere is really the only good hotel in this area, decor feels a little set in the 1990's, but facilities are great and the set menu at the restaurant is a real treat. It has a nice casual feel and a very attentive owner/manager"
