The room was not on the beach as advertised, but on a street one block from the beach. We liked that out door place to sit and 24 hr coffee. The room air-conditioner did not work and the over head light kept blinking all night. The outside temp was 85 degrees. The staff did not care about either of these problems and offered no compensation. Our room was moved the next day.

I loved that the staff were helpful and attentive. The place was right next to the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. Cristina was a special treat and makes guests feel important. What a wonderful young woman!

Nice stay

Nice little hotel. Very nice location with beach across the street. Staff is friendly and speaks English. They were very accommodating with showers before our travel after checking out. Very little hot water but to be expected on the island.

First the pros: A very short walk to the beach (<1 minute). Fantastic outdoor common areas including a shaded meeting area, a hammock, and a lounge chair. The breakfast was simple but delicious. Next the neutrals: The staff were polite, but not overly friendly. Rooms were clean but cramped. Our four person room probably would have been better suited for three or possibly two. Finally, the cons: The sheets had some minor stains. However, since the entire hotel is immaculate, we knew they were stained rather than dirty. Also, beware that you will be charged something like a 10% additional charge if you want to use your Visa credit card.

Quiet and welcoming

Rooms were lovely (hand painted walls) and had mini fridges. The bathrooms were spatious (by Galapagos standards). Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet area. Free water and coffee and nice social areas ourside. We ran out of toliet paper at night once and the reception desk is not open 24 hours.

Good location, comfortable bed.

This is a good place to stay. It is close to the beach, restaurants, laundry and the staff will be happy to set up tours for you. Breakfast is included. It is not so good if you like to be in the room other than sleeping. The rooms aren't much larger we than the king size beds they contain and there is no TV
