Oceanfront Penthouse Condo in 5 Star Resort with Oceanview

  • Breathtaking views from the balcony! Panoramic view of Bandaras Bay and an ideal location overlooking the amazing garden and pool areas.Staying at our Velas Vallarta condo allows you to be close to all of the amenities Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Listen and relax to the ocean sounds from above or below and be as pampered as you wish.

    There is an all-inclusive option for resort meals and drinks that Velas Vallarta offers. When we last checked the price is $160USD/pp per day for Adults and $60USD/pp per day for child 16 years and younger. You can add this from the hotel upon check-in.

    Our unit is equipped with one king bed, a pull out sofa and a single air mattress. There are flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen includes a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, oven, refrigerator, cooktop with pots and pans and a new set of dishes. The wi-fi is included in the price of the rental as is the exercise facility, morning yoga, pool aerobics, Spanish lessons, and much more!

    Maid service for the unit is included once weekly, if more visits are desired an additional cleaning is easily added to your stay payable directly to Velas Vallarta. Upon check in there is an available concierge to answer all of your questions. Easily book excursions and other services such as massage or meal delivery. It’s easy to leave a credit card at the front desk for other resort incidentals. The Velas staff will also enter the unit to water the balcony plants every few days.

    The Marina area in Puerto Vallarta affords you amazing restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, golf and water activities all within a short walk. Downtown Vallarta is a $5 USD cab ride, or ride the bus for 50 cents USD! Airport transportation is less than $5 USD but coming from the airport may be more if you opt to leave direct from the terminal.

The ocean view was awesome. The staff were friendly. The unit was adequate, but could use some updating in the living room such as new recliners and couch . The bedroom was very dated and could use a fresh look. The downside to this unit was that the guest was required to pay and provide their own dish soap, dish towels and cloths as well as paper towels. Nothing was supplied for the guest to use to maintain a clean kitchen. It appeared that the previous guest (or cleaning staff) cleared out everything. It was even expected that the guest wash the extra linens if they used them, however there was no washing machine in the unit. Overall our stay was good/excellent with the exception of these extra purchases.

Great location!

This place is great! Easy to get to/from airport, pretty walkable to a lot of restaurant options. There are a ton of birds and iguanas everywhere, even in the pool! The host is very communicative and helpful. We hope to come back again sometime!

Perfect Property for a Getaway

The condo has everything that you need for an oceanside retreat! The resort has an excellent pool and beach front access for the most relaxing vacation. The location is easy to walk to the grocery store and restaurants. It's the perfect getaway spot!! We will definitely stay here again!

This condo has the most beautiful view on the top floor. There is nature all around and a perfect location if you want to take a $5 uber to the grocery store or walk to a resteraunt in the marina.

Excellent condo in excellent resort

Wife and I stayed here for a week in October and loved it. The condo was exactly as shown in pictures and met all our needs. Check-in was quick and easy and the condo was very comfortable. Also the resort itself is superb with very genuinely friendly staff and the location is a short walk to marina for other meal options. We hope to stay in this unit for future trips! Excellent overall experience!

The condo at Velas was just as the pictures show. Very nice and clean. Bathroom updated. The owners are great and so quick to respond to questions. Velas staff were fantastic. Service at the pool was excellent!

Great Resort

The resort was wonderful. All staff were very helpful and welcoming in every respect. The location was close to the marina and restaurants as well as several good restaurants close by. The resort is beautiful. The unit had wonderful views of the bay. We watched the whales from our balcony! Our only strong recommendation would be for the owner to provide a guest with some of the required items such as dishwashing liquid, dishtowels, cleaners, paper towels, etc. This would make a stay so much more comfortable.

Great property

The property was perfect. The room was great. Very clean and well maintained. The only complaint I have is the bed was very very hard. We travelled with other couples and they mentioned the same thing so it may be a regional thing. We will absolutely go back and recommend this property to everyone interested.

My Vacation Haven

The welcoming hospitality of the Velas staff, management and property owner, the access to fun activities and quality restaurants, proximity to the Marina, and the splendid property accommodation make this an enjoyable and memorable resort vacation experience. The room has a spectacular ocean and tropical garden view. It feels like home away from home with the quality upgrades, the comfy furniture, the little library, an enchanting nighttime skyline view, and the wonderful hospitality of the owner...John, Sherry and Morgan. I am looking forward to the return to my vacation haven.

Nice condo

We’ve stayed at this resort three times over the past five years and this is exactly the same as the over view deluxe rooms the resort offers. The AC works awesome and the room was clean. My only gripe is the bed. It needs to be replaced bad. It has two mattress.toppers and it’s very uncomfortable. The beds the hotel offers are in much better shape. Other than that, great accommodations and I’d recommend for anyone.

Updated, clean unit with comfortable furniture. Amazing views from the balcony. Loved that the resort had an activity pool with music and a separate quieter pool great for reading/relaxing. Also separate pool/play area for small children. Beautiful gardens and landscaping. We chose the à la carte option rather than the all-inclusive. Great food at restaurants..We received a significant discount at golf courses, even without the all inclusive plan. Great place to stay for golfers.! There was some airplane noise, but not too bad being so close to the airport.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay

Having rented several properties in Vallarta, this was my clear favorite. The owners set the tone by extending tremendous hospitality and kindness. The unit is beautifully remodeled and has all the appointments needed to enhance your stay. The view from the 9th floor center is amazing. Fabulous (cold) multi-room air conditioning was most welcome in Vallarta in July. At other resorts, staff sometimes treat VRBOers with a bit of disdain; not here. The staff at Vellas is absolutely remarkable. I would recommend this rental highly, and I will almost certainly return next year. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

STAY HERE- nowhere else!!

The picture from the balcony sums it all up. GORGEOUS!! I love that the morning sun does not come around for a bit, so you can enjoy your morning coffee but then relax in the sun later in the day. The views are amazing. Sunsets are spectacular. The large king bed in the bedroom is amazing. The fold out couch is not that big. More like a full and squeaks A LOT but my husband slept so well. The single air mattress is very thin but it was there. I loved the grounds and there were amazing pickle ball courts! So if you have paddles- bring them! Or tennis rackets. You can also check out paddles and rackets there as well. The Marina was close by to walk to and do the whale tour which was unbelievable. I highly recommend this condo for 2-3 people. We didn’t do the all-inclusive. Much cheaper to pay as you go. Enjoy!

Fantastic Stay!

Absolutely loved this condo! The pictures of the view do not do it justice. It is beautiful and a great place to catch the sunset. The location is right by the airport so it's a few very short minutes to get your vacation underway, but we never heard a single plane during our stay. The property was immaculate. Tons of plants and flowers, waterfalls, and streams with giant koi fish, a family of ducks, a handful of iguanas plus two peacocks that roam the property. The pool is Vegas-caliber with a children's pool, a second pool which was quiet with waterfalls cascading over boulders. The third pool that was ocean front, played music but not very loud which was perfect. The front pool also features a swim-up bar, and they have servers that will bring food to the pool-side tables. There is also a restaurant right at the edge of the beach, yet another great place to enjoy the fantastic Puerto Vallarta sunsets. Last thing about the property, every single person on the staff was super polite and helpful. I can't say enough great things about this rental and the property it's on!

This Condo is PERFECTION!

This condo is located near the marina - we walked there each day - easy 20 minute walk on sidewalk the entire way. Easy check in, condo was ready when we arrived at 11 am, and we were enjoying that view within minutes of arrival at the resort. The condo is clean and breezy. We didn't need AC during our stay. There were pool floaties and sun hats available in the bedroom closet if we wanted them. The King bed was comfortable and the linens/towels were fresh! We sat on the balcony most of the time we were in the condo. We ate out, but made coffee each morning in the condo and that was wonderful to enjoy on that balcony. I would say this would be a tight condo for 2 couples as one place to sleep is the living room sofa sleeper, but for a family with parents and kids, or a couple like us, this condo is perfect. Staff was friendly, nightly entertainment was a nice option if you weren't venturing off the property, and the people around the pool/lobby/resort were friendly and chatty. A note about the resort - it was quiet Wed/Thur then got very full with kids Fri/Sat. It wasn't bad, but just a heads up that there are plenty of young ones in the pool, at the restaurants. We will definitely return to PV, and most likely try to snap up this condo again! The host was very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you! 10 stars out of 5.

Great space/small hiccup

Overall, we had a great stay here. We visited during a very humid time of year which made the air conditioning an extremely amazing reprieve. The space was clean and the pictures are exactly what you get when you stay. I will say that our ONLY downside was the plumbing in the bathroom. We did not get the toilet to flush the entirety of the stay. I say this was an issue but I really want to make sure that I also say that we did NOT reach out to the owner to fix this. It was my husbands 40th birthday and we just happen to have a ton of activities planned and just didn't get around to it. Ultimately, we used a coffee pot full of water to flush regularly. Not ideal, however, I don't blame the host as we didn't reach out to give the host an option to correct the issue. I would recommend this place for a couple to spend quality time together with great views!

Amazing view amazing location

My friend and I stayed at this property from Oct. 28-Nov 1 2024 and we absolutely loved this condo! The views from the condo are absolutely stunning!! The resort and area surrounding is very walkable and we felt very safe. The airport is a close 10 min drive away, we took an Uber everywhere we went that wasn’t necessarily walkable and it was very cheap. The condo is close to amenities and shopping and a 20 min Uber from Malecon! The food quality everywhere in PV is amazing and we did not have one bad meal on or off the resort! The resort staff are very kind and helpful. The resort itself was very beautiful with a semi private beach. The resort grounds were immaculate and was constantly being looked after. Cleanliness is very important to me and this place didn’t disappoint. The gym at the resort is OK and has enough to do a decent workout but some of the older life fitness equipment does need to be replaced. Now I do have to talk about some things about this condo that we weren’t say the happiest about. -wifi is terrible, no good connections in the condo or on the resort -no ironing board, iron or scissors in the condo -water pressure is bad, only good spot was the bathroom sink. -no hot water anywhere. Luke warm at best. -Matress, bed pillows and curtains are all very outdated and need to be replaced. Overall I still give this condo/resort a 9/10. We were going to book for next year, but the condo has doubled in price from what we paid :(
