One of Mismaloya’s unique advantages is its proximity to Los Arcos Marine Park, with many of the area’s most popular boat, snorkeling, kayak, and paddleboard excursions departing directly from the bay.

The Space

The primary suite offers a private retreat with a king-size bed, allowing you to wake to beautiful views right from your pillow, built-in closets and drawers, direct access to the balcony, and a spacious ensuite featuring double sinks and a walk-in circular shower.

The second bedroom provides flexible sleeping arrangements with the option of a king bed or two twin beds, along with a built-in desk ideal for a quiet workspace.

The living room includes a double sofa bed for additional guests.

The second bathroom includes a jetted tub and glass-enclosed shower.

All three sleeping areas feature individually controlled central air conditioning zones for personalized comfort.

The full kitchen is equipped with a gas stove / oven, large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and all the essentials expected in a well-appointed home. The dining and living areas are thoughtfully designed for both comfort and connection — whether relaxing indoors, taking in the views, or unwinding in the evening.

Step out onto the oversized balcony, which offers two distinct seating areas for lounging, dining, or simply enjoying a drink while watching the sunset from this exceptional oceanfront setting.

Elevators and stairs offer convenient access to the resort-style amenities, including the pool, hot tubs, gym, billiards, reception area, and extra building laundry facilities, all set within beautifully maintained gardens featuring pergolas, shaded gazebos, multiple lounging areas, and private garden pathways throughout the expansive grounds.

The beach is just steps from the pool and tennis courts, allowing for a seamless transition between relaxation and oceanfront living.

From the beach, guests can enjoy a scenic stroll into the traditional village of Mismaloya for local dining, shops, and authentic coastal atmosphere.

Guest access

The 24/7 security and front desk team will welcome you each time you arrive and are available throughout your stay.

Upon check-in, you will be provided with keys and access fobs for the beach gate and all building access points, including the tennis court and fitness centre.

If you would like to arrange additional housekeeping during your stay, this can be coordinated through me in advance.

Please note that housekeeping services do not include dishwashing or personal laundry.

Other things to note

Guests often ask about beach access — one of the true highlights of the residence is that you are directly on the beach. A short walk down the stairs brings you to soft white sand and the gentle rhythm of the ocean just steps away.

The property shares this beautiful, swimmable bay with the Barceló Puerto Vallarta resort, which contributes to the care, cleanliness, and overall sense of security of the beach and surrounding area.

The residence is equipped with smart televisions; however, there is no cable or satellite service. Guests are welcome to enjoy streaming platforms by logging into their personal accounts, or may wish to bring a streaming device (such as a Fire Stick) for added ease and familiarity.

In keeping with both comfort and building guidelines, occupancy is limited to a maximum of 6 guests. The residence is ideally suited for up to 4 adults, with accommodations for up to 2 additional guests—preferably children or infants—as the sofa bed is best suited for occasional rather than extended adult use. All guests must be registered as part of the reservation prior to arrival.

For privacy and security within the community, any outside visitors require prior written authorization from the owner. Kindly provide at least 24 hours’ notice should you wish to invite guests, so arrangements can be made with the front desk.

What I love most about this property is the setting. From the balcony and throughout the residence, you are surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty in every direction—lush jungle-covered mountains rising dramatically in front of the building, the sound of waves gently lapping onto the sandy beach below, fishing and tour boats softly bobbing in the bay, and spectacular sunsets that seem almost too beautiful to be real. There is something uniquely cinematic about Mismaloya; at times it feels less like a vacation destination and more like a scene from a film. Despite its beauty, it still feels like a hidden corner of Puerto Vallarta known primarily to those who have discovered it and return year after year for its rare combination of scenery, tranquility, and authentic charm.
