This place was old and not very clean . It was a bit pricey for the lack of amenities and it was about a 15 trek to town . The towels were thin and old . The Estepona were not clean . The restaurant was limited in menu and going to town was a bit out of the way . I can homely not worth the $160 per night

My expectations were higher considering the price. The staff was kind and welcoming, the rooms towels and bed clothes were old and filthy. Acceding to the facility is complicated. The room is not comfortable and only had a noisy ceiling fan we were sweating tremendously and there were not able to provide additional fans

Overpriced. No wifi in the rooms only in the outdoor restaurant area. Cheap bedding, bad lighting and the locks on the door felt very flimsy. Nice and friendly staff. Overall nice concept but the execution was poor. Really annoyed about the wifi.

We had a great stay at Maraica, we love this hotel!! It was a really good blend of exceptional quality and quiet privacy from the world. It was a very peaceful place, with fantastic food, and very close to the beach! We will be coming back for sure! PS. They also have very honest staff who helped us find something we had left behind, and they worked diligently to get it back to us! Thank you!!

I really wanted to like this place but… The staff was really nice. There was a bad sewage smell and no AC. Grounds were beautiful and peaceful with easy access to the beach.

Our stay at the Maraica was amazing! The rooms are simple, spacious, and beautiful. It can be a little loud due to the rooms all being open, but so nice to hear the ocean at night. The restaurant is some of the best food in town. Would recommend going to dinner at sunset to take advantage of the amazing upper deck/terrace view. The restaurant doesn’t open until 8am so don’t plan on early coffee. Great location: About a 10 min walk to town, or 3 min walk to the beach club. Finally, the staff is so friendly, kind, and helpful!

This is truly a 2 to 3 star hotel. Day 1 When we got there you can obviously see that things haven’t been maintained in a very long time. My experience on day one including some other guests was a big surprise. There was no warnings of a “special event” that would take if not all there staff. So at dinner, the wait for ordering was nearly impossible. Day 3 Blackout..They definitely have electrical issues at this hotel. The electricity was going on and off and made it unsafe to walk any place including your room. It lasted until early morning. Also, Restaurant closes at 5pm Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday…I am going to ask for a partial refund
