Great stay overall at this all-inclusive hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the beach, pool, and buffet, plenty of good food and a fun atmosphere. However, the room cleanliness needs improvement, the furniture feels outdated, the air conditioning is very loud, and the bathroom could use an upgrade.

Wonderful family activities. Lots for kids to do. Beautiful beach. The pool got a bit crowded at times and the food was only so so but it was a great resort with many activities for all ages and our family of 4 enjoyed our stay immensely.

The resort was great for the kids. The beach is very beautiful and ocean is great here. Lots of beach vendors selling you stuff all day long which can get a bit annoying after a while. The hotel is dated but nice. The resort is open for day passes so gets very busy in the pools and restaurants / bars.

Really geared for the kids which is awesome if you have young families. Staff are very friendly. Food is somewhat catered to the locals but I believe this could be time of year also. Not sure if this was the case because they were on spring break for kids in schools.

Catalina provided for me best massages I've ever had on the beach highly recommend having an appointment with her whether it's in the spa or in the gazebo in the open she'll take you to dreamland and take out all the kinks.

We need to change room because of the mold in the bathroom. Room service questioned order. Hard to get in the restaurants. They never answer phone calls for the room service, lobby and you have to talk to them personally. But staff was so nice and accommodating..

Loved location quick access from airport and close proximity to airport allowed lots of walking and exploring off resort without need to find transportation. My kids and even ourselves enjoyed watching all the cruise ships come in and out of port as well as the pirate boat. Staff were amazing and quick to help and make our trip memorable! Our son experienced a medical emergency and we are so greatful to all the staff and management who checked in daily, called and followed up and even checked in on our son upon return from 4 day hospital stay! We did a few dinners and they were amazing but with young kids ate at buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner and found all meals to be delicious. During our 10 day stay we did not get bored of options. Lots of new dishes to try every day. My favourite had to be seafood soup and the marlin ceviche. We loved our time here and would definitely come back !

Pros: · Clean rooms. · Tasty but only Mexican-style limited international options. · Kids' club & nightly shows are outstanding – world-class entertainment for children. · Staff are absolute gems – performers, activity hosts, and service teams go far beyond their limits. Special shout-out to Ubaldo Reyes – a true star. They all deserve big raises. Cons: · AC does not work at all (not only 1 room problem) · Dinner reservation system is broken – book at 8/9 AM, seats gone in 1 minute, yet restaurants are half-empty at night. Walk-ins denied. Feels intentional. · Outdated IT system – needs to upgrade Staff polish old rooms brilliantly,entire property needs renovation --- To Management/Owners:Read Carefully: Your staff are carrying this hotel on their backs. They work tirelessly, often beyond their limits, and they are the only reason guests still come back. But where are you? Frankly, it doesn't seem like you care about staying competitive. Broken ACs, crumbling rooms, and a reservation system that frustrates everyone – while other hotels upgrade, you're falling behind. Are you even serious about this business? You can't keep relying on your employees to polish a decaying property. They deserve better leadership, better tools, and better facilities. Invest now – in new AC, renovated rooms & washrooms, modern digital check-in, and a fair reservation system – or watch guests walk away to your competitors. Your staff are saving you daily. It's time you saved your Hotel and them.

Nice, friendly staff. Matresses were very hard, food options at the buffet restaurant could be improved and the ability to reserve at the specialty restaurants discouraging; we were able to get one reservation on our last night there and we stayed for six nights so that was very disappointing.

Ocean was not visible from our balcony, it looked into the staff parking lot and alley. The hotel is family friendly and attached to the adults only "crown paradise golden club". Very few staff speak english which was tough at times but google translate helped. The highlight of the property was the kids pool and splash/water park on location though it was in need of some minor updates. The room was clean but no "special touches" done to the room. Previous stays in other resorts we had little flowers or towel art done on our beds. The buffett was just "okay" and somewhat limited.

If you’re looking for clean, updated rooms with sufficient A/C this isn’t for you. If you’re hoping for a selection of brand liquor you’re not going to find that here. If you’re looking for an inclusive resort with good dining/eating options, again this resort probably isn’t for you. The buffet was one of the worst we’ve encountered and the à la carts weren’t any better. Booking the à la carts was a challenge. But, if you’re looking for a resort with different pool options, a GREAT beach, plenty of lounge chairs, mostly friendly and helpful staff, an amazing kids pool/activity area and doesn’t break the bank then this definitely a good option. Close to the airport, shopping and a short cab ride to the Malecon!
