Hotel Valle del Este Golf Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner. Really clean and large pool. Fantastic golf course and staff all really pleasant. Room good size with good bathroom."
"It's probably stretching it to still call this a 4 star hotel, but it was perfectly adequate for my needs and at a good price too.
Daily housekeeping is included as is breakfast. The breakfast buffet wasn't as good as most places but it was perfectly acceptable. I would have got tired of it though after 3 or 4 days as there's not a lot of choice. Would have expected more fruit for example.
Note the main pool closes each day from 2pm to 5pm although the smaller pool remains open.
This hotel's target market is the Spanish tourist. Not all staff speak English, not all signs are translated into English, but that's what I liked about it - no other English tourists, (and I'm English!).
All in all, perfectly acceptable for my needs, I enjoyed my stay, no complaints, but I wouldn't take my loved one here if you wanted to impress them."
"Room was spacious and clean. Hotel in a quiet location and the pool was lovely with plenty of sun beds.
The breakfast was not good, hot food was cold, chipped plates and the tea was not nice.
Hotel definitely better for the Spanish and no English entertainment as advertised."
"The hotel has been recently renovated (year or so ago). We've stayed in two different rooms on two different occasions and each of the rooms was scrupulously clean. The staff maintaining the rooms are welcoming, polite and excellent at their jobs. The staff on Reception, in the dining room and the bar are all friendly, helpful and go the extra mile. There is always a wide range of food for breakfast and evening meals. The manager always seems to be busy wherever you go, supporting the staff and welcoming the guests. The hotel seems to be predominantly visited by people from Spain with their families, but we NEVER felt out of place and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The only negative aspect was our lack of the Spanish language which we will be rectifying."
"Hotel rooms we slightly dated. But all bed comfy and nice bathroom. And rooms fitted with a smart tv. It’s a very Spanish hotel which is lovely. Which means the kids club is all in Spanish but a few of the girls speak English which was lovely for our little girl. Food was absolutely fabulous, great options every night plenty to choose from. We have full board and never went hungry. Was a great place to stay"
"Start with bad bits, check in waiting time could be shorter as I had pre checked in but they where very good in organising changing our room. The worse thing are the amount of steps if you aren't that agile. The room was very good and aircon brilliant. Bed a bit hard. The position of the hotel is excellent, plenty of good restaurants close and loved the beach bars. We would rebook the hotel again. The pool was beautiful and clean.the whole holiday was good value"
