Sehr gut war dieLage des Hotels, die Eingangshalle, das Restaurant und die einmalige Dachterrasse. Frühstück war langweilig und die Zimmer haben eine Renovierung nötig. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

In serious need of a refurbishment

Though clean the rooms are very tired and shabby. We stayed for 4 nights and the towels were not changed once. Pillows are next to useless. Hotel reception staff are not rude but they are ignorant!! They will quite happily keep to waiting while they chat between themselves, without even acknowledging you are there.. they didn’t even respond to good morning as we walked past them on a morning, instead they just choose to ignore you.

Hotel Trovador in February.

The hotel Trovador is a fairly basic three star hotel, breakfasts are adequate and it is good value for money. The location is excellent, within easy , level, walking, into the main part of town in a few minutes. We would not hesitate to book again for next year. If you hire a car, parking is a problem, but it is no worse than the other hotels in the area. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. If you go in a colder week beware as there seems to be no heating in the bedrooms, but this is not normally needed. It is ideally located for Carnival events. Wifi was only available in two locations of the hotel, not in the bedrooms.

Ideal, wenn man zu Fuß in Puerto de la Cruz unterwegs sein möchte. Nicht geeignet, wenn man den Urlaub hauptsächlich im Hotel verbringen möchte.

Para olvidar...

Nefasto, habitación anticuada y descuidada... la ventana de acceso a la terraza no cerraba y quedaba 3 dedos abierta por estar descuadrada, desayuno malo, estaba en la 5a planta y encima hay un sky bar con música a todo trapo hasta la madrugada que unido a que no cerraba la ventana impide descansar... lo dicho nunca más y no lo recomiendo para nada... un 0

da migliorare

Buona posizione vicino al centro e non lontano da Playa Jardin. Bella terrazza con piscina/solarium e bar per la sera che pero' non abbiamo potuto usare visto che abbiamo avuto una brutta settimana di freddo e pioggia.Niente aria condizionata ne' riscaldamento. E' stato molto faticoso il freddo in camera un po' risolto da una piccola stufa data su nostra richiesta e su cauzione.Colazione con dolce e salato ma di medio basso livello.Cassaforte a 2 euro al giorno e niente frigo.Brave e gentili le signore delle pulizie.Tutto un po' vecchiotto ma pulito. Materassi a molla scomodi e biancheria decisamente da rinnovare.Nell'insieme accettabile..ma un po' triste.Buone la pulizia e la posizione.

Mala experiencia en el Trovador

No funcionaba nada. Ni enchufes, ni TV...mal estado en general. La propiedad no invierte en el hotel, solo en una terraza chill out. No lo aconsejo para estancias.

Necesita una reforma en las habitaciones

Volví a este hotel después de 15 años y salvo la reforma de la planta baja y el bar en la terraza pocas cosas habían cambiado. Las habitaciones no cuentan con climatización, ni aire frío ni aire caliente. Los baños son fríos y austeros. La situación es muy buena, al lado de la estación de bus, a pocos minutos de la playa y muy cerca de la plaza del Charco. El desayuno tipo bufet un poco justo. No hay WiFi en las habitaciones, sólo en la recepción.

Albergo tre stelle ma standard da due

Camera freddissima, priva di riscaldamento ed esposta a nord. La prima notte non ho dormito dal freddo, le lenzuola sembravano bagnate, brividi tutta la notte. Lettino piccolo e scomodo, lenzuola e coperte vecchie e troppo piccole. TV micro, dal letto non si vede nulla. Le chiavi magnetiche non funzionano, resto chiusa fuori tre volte e devo chiedere il cambio della carta. Poi l'ultimo giorno si rompe serratura e la porta non si chiude più. Il WiFi non funziona in camera nè in sala colazione, solo nella hall. Non c'è un PC disponibile. Bagno con sanitari vecchi, vasca e doccia arrugginite e soprattutto lavandino intasato, l'acqua non va giù. Chiesto intervento personale albergo, dicono di sì ma non succede nulla. Colazione scarsa, poche cose di base, spesso finite, tre giorni senza yogurt, scarsa frutta, cibo di bassa qualità, si mira al rispormio. Il personale non sa una parola di inglese, Un giorno salta la pulizia della stanza, un altro portano via asciugamani senza fornirne di nuovi. C'è sky-bar sul tetto ma sporco, la mattina è pieno di bicchieri e residui di cibo dalla sera prima, non forniscono teli per i lettini, ci sono copertine ma viene la cameriera e ce le porta via.

Comfortable stay

We had a warm welcome at reception where the staff were always friendly and polite. Our room was on the 4th floor and the balcony had a view over the town and sea view. The room was clean and fairly comfortable although a little dated. Breakfasts were good with a choice of hot and cold food. Although there is no parking as such on site the seafront car park is large and parked up fairly easily, This was about 5 to 10 minute flatish walk. It is convieniently locatted for restaurants - being out of the main hussle but only a couple of minutes from bars and tavernas

Hôtel très bien situé

Nous sommes très satisfaits de l'hôtel TROVADOR. il est très bien situé au niveau géographique, en centre ville sans avoir les nuisances sonores de la vie animée du soir, à 5 minutes de la mer. Nous avions pris la formule petit déjeuner, celui-ci était copieux et varié. Pour le soir, Il y a beaucoup de petits restos sympas dans la ville et beaucoup d'animations, ce qui est super sympa. Il manque juste la wifi dans la chambre, mais cela ne nous a pas gêné, car nous pouvions y accéder dans le hall qui est relativement grand.

Das 3Sterne Hotel Trovador kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Zimmer zum Teil etwas veraltet, aber sauber. Das ganze Personal sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend. Die Lage top. Nähe Strand, Einkaufsstrassen und Restaurant`s.

Hotel mit unübersehbaren Mängeln

Die Rezeption ist - selbst für spanische Verhältnisse - uninteressiert und wenig freundlich. Die Fassade - vor allem an den Balkons - weist schwere Baumängel auf. Faustgroße Stücke fehlen bereits. Die Plastikvorhänge weisen Schimmel auf und das Bad Rost. Die Zimmerdecke ist nach einem Wasserschaden fleckig. Die Bordüren an den Bettüberwürfen sind ein- bzw. abgerissen. Der Toilettendeckel ist zerbrochen. Der uralte Röhren-Fernseher (DIN A 4 Röhre) ist kaputt. Auf Expedia-Service - falls es so etwas überhupt gibt - warte ich vergebens. Das Frühstück passt zu all dem.

Good base close to beach and town

Excellent location close to all amenities. Roof terrace and pool very useful although the pool is not heated so was quite chilly. Very clean and all staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great very plentiful and good choice available. Obviously going through a re-fit and some modernisation but still very hi good value for a 3 star hotel

Hôtel proche du centre et de la plage

Hôtel avec du potentiel, mais qui doit être rénové!!! En ce qui concerne l'accueil, un peu froid. L'entrée de l'hôtel est très beau, mais les chambres vieillote. Pour ceux qui souhaitent se faire dorer la pilule à l'hôtel je ne vous le conseille pas. Après si vous êtes comme nous et que vous comptez faire le tour de l'île c'est largement suffisant. Nous ne cherchons pas le confort mais juste un pied à terre pour dormir et prendre un petit déjeuner.
