We recently stayed at this apartment, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. While there were a few things we liked, such as the cozy setup, a well-equipped kitchen (perfect for cooking), the coffee machine, and having Netflix and YouTube, plus it was close to the beach, the negatives outweighed these.
The main door lock was a real challenge – every time we tried to open it, it took forever. It definitely needs to be fixed or replaced. There was also a constant bad smell coming from the sewer, and the shower dripped water all night, which was annoying.
On top of that, the host’s service was terrible. We tried to ask about the trash bins and didn’t get any response for almost five days. But what really ruined our stay was the Phe Festival happening right outside the apartment. We had no idea it was going on, and the host didn’t mention it at all when we booked, even though it turns out this festival happens every year in the same spot. The music was insanely loud from 8 AM until 3-4 AM, so we couldn’t sleep or relax. We ended up having to leave and find another place to stay two days earlier than planned.
To make things worse, the host has yet to respond to us about this and refused to refund us for the two nights we didn’t stay. Even Booking customer service couldn’t help. Overall, while the apartment had some good things going for it, the issues we faced and the lack of communication really ruined our stay. I can’t recommend staying here.
