"Breakfast is continental. Pre cooked eggs were cold as were the potatoes. Avg at best. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Exterior is showing age. View is amazing. Staff is excellent. "

"Pros: ​- The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. - The area is really nice and silent, best sleep is guaranteed. ​Cons: ​- The unit is in poor condition; the timer and water bucket are broken, the interior was dirty, and drafts make it difficult to maintain heat. - We paid extra to get a room with s fireplace. Check-in instructions suggested a wood-burning fireplace (mentioning wood at reception), but the condo actually features a gas fireplace, which ruined the intended atmosphere. ​- The instructions threatened fines for unwashed dishes and required the use of a dishwasher; however, no dishwasher or drying rack was provided. In addition, no staff were present during the stay. We had to leave the trash in the room because the disposal location was never disclosed. Overall, it was a nice stay."

"The property was very nice. With the shared common space this would be especially good for small groups; the two of us were the only guests this time so we had it all to ourselves, including the well-appointed kitchen and laundry facilities. Being able to descend directly to the bistro for a delicious breakfast was very welcome. The only drawback would be for someone with mobility issues: the rooms are on an upper floor so stairs are a factor. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come this way!"

"I cannot offer enough encouragement to potential visitors to consider Chalet Magnifique - a truly beautiful streamside accommodation. After three visits I have yet to find anything that's been missed in insuring guests' comfort and in creating a space of real beauty and serenity. This extends even to the kitchen where it appears the tools for creating and serving just about everything are available. We are eager to return. "
