"The resort was very pretty. Grounds are well kept. Facilities are in nice condition. Pretty cool that you have your own washer/dryer in the villas. If you want a beach, there isn't too much close by. Carrabelle beach is about 20 minutes away, nice, but small, and no shops or restaurants near.
St. George Island is about 30 minutes. Worth the drive. Good beach, lots of shops, lighthouse & museum, etc."

"In complete candor, I was a little disappointed in the beach. The water was fairly brown- clean, but brown. This is just a result of silt from the river. The beach was SUPER clean and quite natural, but there were a ton of super sharp rocks about 12 feet into the water. Those are literally the only negatives I have about the trip and honestly, small potatoes. Everything else was PERFECT Pictures are from the lowest tide we saw. "

"I had the opportunity to travel to this wonderful property with my mother and three boys. We were in need of a relaxing vacation, and this was exactly what we were looking for! We spent some time at the beach every day, enjoyed the property grounds, and relaxed! We did visit the Gulf Specimen Aquarium as well as two restaurants- the Salty Donkey and Tropical Trader. Allison was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful slice of Florida to any of my friends and family! We don't ever visit a place more than once (just a family tradition), but this just may be one we need to visit again!"
