Good spot close to Providence College

This was a good spot in a larger house with plenty of privacy (private entrance). It’s super close to Providence College and felt safe.

3 night stay in Providence

This unit was ideal for the last leg of my east coast trip. Host was responsive, unit was private, and cost was very reasonable for the area considering the amenities. I was able to walk to many places nearby. I didn’t do laundry during my stay so I can’t review that, but the bathroom and kitchen provided were more than adequate. The ceiling slant and shower were just tall enough for me and I’m 5’10, so be mindful if you are on the taller side. However, the listing was very clear about it being a top floor unit, so this was not a surprise or downside. Also because it is on the top floor, it can get warmer than the rest of the building pretty quickly on a hot day, but the window unit along with wall unit kept the sleeping area nice and cool. Overall, my stay here was integral to my first visit to the ocean state!

Great weekend

My husband and I had a great stay here. The whole process was simple and the host was responsive and helpful. The location is convenient and there were no issues with parking. The space was perfect for two people. Just be careful if you are tall, the ceilings are a bit low. Everything was clean and comfortable.

This is a third story renovate attic unit with all of the culture of a Quality Inn room - with the addition of occasional bumping head on the 45 degree ceilings. The neighborbood is quiet, respectful, and inviting. The access is easy but there are two short flights of narrow, winding stairs. This was an eight day stay and by the third day I grew to enjoying it's privacy, location, and simplicity. Being on the top floor, the unit quickly heats up in hot days, but an ingenious positioning of a window AC unit and a small wall unit creates a nice cool space in the sleeping area and keeps the rest of the open rental unit warm.but tolerable. A strong concern is that the the unit appears to be a fire trap where the only exit is the winding/ narrow staircase. There is only one window in the wall (several small skylights), and that window hosts an AC unit. Also, the lone smoke alarm seems to not be working - perhaps needs battery. Another safety concern is that in the case of a major medical call, it is doubtful that a stretcher could be navigated up and down the stair case, especially with a person on it. For these safety concerns alone, I am unable to recommend this as a rental unit. If these concerns were to be addressed, this would be a great place for someone needing a place to to lay their head down and chill a bit.
