"The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was included and plentiful. The area is away from downtown Athens but near a metro like two city blocks that runs often. Nice quiet neighborhood feel, observed a lot of seniors in the area. Nice cafe places on every corner and a bakery that is open 24 hours on the corner from the hotel. Amazing views on the roof from the hotel. Very nice place. "

"The hotel was extremely well run. The breakfast was excellent. The pool area was a lovely oasis away from the streets below. Our family room was a very good size and was kept clean and well stocked. The downside was the fact that the surrounding streets are so dirty, so full of homeless and drug users. It is impossible to find a safe route to the hotel from any public transport! Despite really liking the hotel, I would not book it again because of the location. "

"We had an amazing stay at phidias. The room was a spacious and very comfortable. It had a patio doors with a 2ft wide balcony. No good for sitting out on but nice to have the windows open. The hotel is on a back street, dont let the outside street disuade you, the inside of the hotel is lovely. The area is not really a tourist area but is a cosmopoliton meeting place for local greeks. Most people in the area do speak english. There are lots of street food vendors and some very nice restaurants, all selling food at a teasonable price. I was very impressed with the hotel offering a free cell phone for your use with data and calling while you stay at the hotel and a free transfer service to the cruise port. The staff were super friendly in the hotel. If you are going on a cruise it is the perfect location for a pre cruise stay. "
