Tremendous Value
This was the least expensive place I could find on Kauai, but it was still nice: clean, quiet, comfortable, and bug-free (I'm terrified of bugs, and there are a lot in Kauai). It's perfect for a couple, and everything needed was provided, including the bonus items like beach chairs and snorkel masks listed in previous reviews. The owners are being very generous to offer this place at such a low price!

Amazing Stay!
We had such a nice time. The location was convenient and hosts were very pleasant and helpful! Pretty much anything you could need was in the condo which was very nice! Stayed with my fiancé and it was exactly what we needed at a very affordable price. Without this condo we probably wouldn’t have been able to make this trip happen. Thank you!!!!

Quiet Sandpiper Village
Well maintained condo community in a lovely neighbourhood. WiFi performed well, Netflix & ample free parking were appreciated. Owner was very prompt in responding to all questions!

Princeville condo
Unit fit our needs. Comfortable and clean with the exception of the shower. Shower needed the mold cleaned and shower floor needed bleached. Did report this directly to owner. (may need a new house keeper). Had plenty of dishes and utensils for the basic microwave, toaster and coffee set up. Unit was was nicely located by pool and plenty of parking. . Owner provided a nice selection of maps and suggestions of local places and provided coolers and beach toys to use, We would stay here again

Great value for a North Shore studio
The Good: -Beautiful and quiet neighborhood -Fully stocked with beach gear -Great pool / hot tub -Convenient parking right outside room -Comfortable bed -Great price for the area -Foodlands (Grocery Store) right around the corner -Close to Hanalei -Lanai was frequented by a friendly cat The Bad: -No beaches within convenient walking distance (but many are in close driving distance) -Room is quite small (perfect for a solo traveler or a couple who don't mind sharing space). -Lots of clutter below the TV. The spot for the coffee maker was on top of the microwave and adjacent to an electrical tv box. Not ideal when filling up the coffee maker with water and having to be sure not to spill the water onto electrical components. -I feel like the table is too large for the room, especially considering the previous comment. Why have a 4 person table in a tight room that can only fit 1-2 comfortably? There must be a way to better utilize that space, especially since there is a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and paper towel dispenser all stacked together below the TV. -Wished the room had AC during the mid-day heat. Could not rely on the overhead fan or breeze to keep cool. -Decorative pillows smelled used the first day. I put them off to the side but still worth mentioning. Maybe it was just my nose. -Fridge smelled strongly of mustard (but worked fine). I had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area. Please take my criticisms constructively, none of them were significant in my opinion and I only bring them up to try to help improve the guest experience. Mahalo!

Fun week, OK room
We really enjoyed the island of Kauai. Sadly our room was not as enjoyable. The shower was very dirty. All of the kitchen ware was dirty. It was very hard to get ahold of the property manager. There was no ac but a box fan which we assumed ac would be present even though not listed. Overall for the price it was disappointing as we stayed there for 9 nights. Luckily without the low price we couldn't have afforded this honeymoon. So an OK room for an amazing trip.

Very Charming
Your location was perfect in size and location for us. I would say our only comments would be to add an ironing board and a second key for additional guests. Also the shower floor could use an update. We just weren’t sure if it was dirty or not. Otherwise we would definitely stay there again, very charming little place.

Reasonable place for reasonable price
It had all the amenities one could possibly expect for the small unit we rented, and then some. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. When the coffee maker quit, they provided a new one the next day. Administratively, they are very well organized if you communicate by text (we didn't need to explore other options). The pool and grounds are nice, and well kept. The only negatives were the very poor sound insulation between units, and the fact that the opening of our screen door overlapped with that of the next unit, which was at right angles, so people couldn't enter and/or exit both units at the same time if they wanted to. There were also two issues a previous renter reported that they came to fix but couldn't: a poorly fitting sliding screen door to the patio, and sticking sliding doors on the closet. My wife thought it smelled musty but I didn't notice--but she could probably hire herself out as a bloodhound. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Exactly what we needed
This little studio was exactly the home base we needed while exploring Kauai. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed. Good location within walking distance to Queen's Bath and Hideaways Beach. Walls are thin and you can definitely hear your neighbors, especially if they have crying toddlers. Fortunately, there's a box fan in the closet, and it helps to drown out some of the noise. There is also a friendly cat who we called Jeffrey that would hang around the lanai. He was the highlight of the rental.

Close to all amenities, accessible, and wonderful location.
We really enjoyed our stay in the studio. It is small, but works out nicely with a surprisingly spacious lanai. You are less than a mile to the queens bath which made a convenient walk and 2 miles to hideaway beach. There is no a/c, but with the ceiling fan and additional fan we were never uncomfortable. The only issue was the noise if you are trying to get to bed early. Children were playing out front until about 8:30-9, but after they went into their condo it was very peaceful.

Very nice place!
My fiance and I stayed at the Sand Piper village while we were in Kaua'i. It was a very nice and beautiful area around us. It was very quite at night and I have no complaints about the noise. It was perfect if you plan to spend most of the day out of the house and outside. The only thing to keep in mind with this place would be to understand how small it is. A mini fridge, no dishwasher or washer and dryer. For just the two of us, it worked perfectly! Just a heads up for anyone else looking at this place. I would recommend it and would stay again, we had a lot of fun! Thank you!!

Great location for longer stays on the island; it's close to Na Pali coast
Great for young couples! Tips: Park on the left side when you drive in Sandpiper village, not in the marked stall for the unit. Enjoy eating breakfast on the private back patio. Eat breakfast nearby at the Village Snack shop, get plate lunch in the same shopping area at L&Ls, then finish off nextdoor at Jojo's for the best shave ice on Kauai or Oahu. Enjoy the beach amenities provided including some basic snorkel gear and beach chairs.

Just what we wanted....!
This condo is cute and comfy. It was exactly what we wanted for our stay on the north shore. Easy access to hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, beach and dining. This unit does not have a view, however, we saw plenty of stunning beauty on our daily outings....and our eyes were quickly closed after days filled with adventures. For the price it's a great location in Princeville and close to the fun activities of Hanalei Bay.

Great place to stay while vacationing on a budget!
Our condo was very nice and even had snorkeling gear for us to use during our stay. This is great for those on a tight budget. However, we the noise from the neighbors above us was downright annoying! It's poorly insulated. So, if I had to do it again, I would definitely pay the extra money for a place with out all the noise like a beach house or an upscale hotel.

The description of the place is pretty accurate. We knew what we were getting into (no kitchen and a washing machine for clothes, also part of a shared unit), but the experience we had here was not enticing for us to want to come back. We had a good stay for the first days here. We took advantage of the grills by the pool and the hot tub. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The owners supplied the house with snorkle gear for 2, a couple bogie boards, beach mats and chairs. They also had a guide book and personal recommendations of places to go and things to do. Unfortunately the place did not live up to all living standards. For one, being a shared unit, the walls between you and whoever lives in the next place are paper thin. You are basically subjected to hear whatever movie they watch and a muffled version of every conversation they have. Visa verse, they can probably hear what you do and talk about. Automatically that just made it really uncomfortable. ALSO, the door between the unit can be unlocked from either side and anyone can enter at any time. One of the nights, our neighbors checked in late and walked through the door while we were sleeping thinking that it was a part of their unit. It scared the crap out of us and all they did was scurry out. There was no sign on the door warning them and nothing we could have done to prevent it. Seems like kind of a security lapse. The rest of the community was really nice and quiet. Even though its pretty tight-knit here and lots of units are close together, I didn't notice anyone else at all until the garbage trucks came at 9am. We knew this wouldn't be the most accommodating and private location as we were planning on using it sparingly so that we could explore the island for the most part of the day. For the price, it's not bad and for the first few days we liked it a lot. Just after a while we started to see the flaws it comes with and eventually discovered this place won't be for us next time. Few things for quick improvements: - if you'd like us to take the trash out everyday, please provide more trash bags - it'd be great to know ahead of time what cleaning supplies are available. we expected to find some generic body soap and shampoo, but there was none. there was however dish soap, aloe, and sunblock. i assume that these were just leftover from the other renters. every other condo i have visited has supplied those basics.

Wonderful stay!
Perfect location, clean room woth all the commodities and a BBQ/pool&spa area that really suits us. The pwner is really easy to reach if necessary. I highly recommend this propriety!

Well kept grounds
Was a "cheap" place to stay, went our last 3 nights without light in shower area. (No extra lightbulb to replace, doesn't take much to change a lightbulb). LOTS of people that live there with kids, one woke us every am screaming on the dot at 0530 am. Had 1 dull knife to cut our steak with, we knew how "limited" things would be staying in the place. Not even a wine bottle opener, but were wine glasses. Pool was like an ice cube, not heated. No way to wash clothes, I think only laundromat was back in Lihue. Disappointed. Great place for someone that wants to eat out a lot!!! Not for people that just want to sit around and hang out at the condo!

Very nice and clean condo
All amenities are close by and the condo and complex are very good. The condo was really easy to get to and was exactly as advertised. The only thing that would have made it better was a kitchen sink (or somewhere other than the small bathroom area) to wash dishes. Location is amazing and the beauty of Kauai is really hard to match anywhere in the world.

The studio is located in Princeville, which is a convenient place to stay. Unfortunately, the place is poorly furnished (there is no kitchen, it was probably written somewhere but I did'nt pay attention before I arrived), and as separated from the other unit by a thin door it's really noisy. Our neighbors were quiet but we had the feeling we were all living together... The cleaning was clearly insufficient (old dry contact lens on the table, plastic razor cap on the bathroom, hair everywhere) and the sheets and towels stained. Even if we paid attention emptying the bin everyday we found several beetles running on the floor. The only good thing was the pool and barbecue area.

Great place, great location!
The apt had everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, cutlery, coffee maker,etc... They also had lots of beach equipment and snorkel gear for you to use. We had our own snorkel gear, but they really had everything you need. The parking was a little difficult. Sometimes the visitor parking filled up and there was nowhere to park. Not sure if this place had a reserved spot. Othetwise, this is a great location to be for hiking and snorkeling. We would definitely stay here again and we recommend it. Hope to come back to Kauai.

Great home base
My boyfriend and I visited Kauai for the first time and stayed in this little studio. The studio is actually a "master bedroom" and part of a full unit, but the owners have converted it into 2 units. Thus, that's why there's no kitchen. For those who plan to be active all over the island, this is a great place to stay. We basically used it as a home base between activities and it was the perfect size for a couple. My only complaint was having to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink since there's no kitchen or wet bar, but that was really not a big deal. If you're looking for something super affordable and cute, this is the place. A major plus was Robert's responsiveness - being a planner, I emailed him a handful of times prior to our trip and he was extremely quick to reply. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place!

It wasn't what we were initially expecting but we were able to work with it.
It was very similar to staying at a hotel. We had access to a pool/hot tub and a grill (the only way we were able to cook - other than a microwave). Expect to provide your own spices/seasonings. We were doing our dishes in the bathroom sink, which really sucked - they didn't provide a basin, rags, soap or a sponge. It is in one of the most expensive areas of Kauai, only 10-15 minutes to the nearest town (cheaper). The unit was clean, parking was easy - directions to the unit were a little hard to understand but we figured it out.

This was a perfect little studio. Eventhough there was no kitchen, there were BBQ's available for us to use. The rooms had many little extras that are not listed. The apt was located in a very nice area too. I'd highly recommend this place for any couple.

Great deal in Kauai!
We had a studio apartment. The bed and pillows were comfy. No air but none needed. Hot tub and pool were awesome. Residents were friendly. There's a grill, fridge, microwave, and toaster. Book the helicooter tour thru Princeville airport. Its close and worth every penny! Parking was tight so we made our own spot. There is no close laundry mat in the studio. Owner was immediately available and receptive. Check in was easy! Bring your own conditioner and dish soap! We'll return and stay here again!

Great location at a great value
The property was as described. It is in a very nice location in Princeville close to a grocery store, restaurants, beaches, and the golf course. I was amazed that the price was so low based on the location. My only complaint is that you can hear the people in the next room very clearly and parking is a challenge if you arrive in the evening. I would stay here again.

In der Unterkunft hat es stark nach Hund gerochen. Die Duschwanne ist sehr alt und beschädigt. Das Besteck war nicht sauber. Die Wände sind so dünn das man jedes Wort der Nachbarn versteht.

Lage und Umgebung super, Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen
Kauai ist eine teure Insel an sich, weshalb das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in diesem Fall noch ok ist. Die Lage im Princeville ist super und die Anlage an sich ruhig und gepflegt. Das Zimmer an sich ist auch in Ordnung, der Housekeeper könnte nur etwas sauberer sein (Boden wischen und nicht nur fegen, da der Lappen dunkel war, als ich Wasser aufwischte. Aus / hinter dem Kühlschrank entstehen strenge Gerüche, müsste bitte auch gereinigt werden und die Dusche entspricht leider nicht den Bildern. Der Boden der Dusche ist kaputt und der Duschvorhang schmutzig und benötigen dringend eine Erneuerung.
