Lovely stay
Simply put, great location and space for 1-3 people, especially for the price. You are in walking distance to some beaches as well as restaurants and a grocery store. Hanalei is a short 7 min drive away. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lani was so communicative leading up to the trip and during our stay! She also provides an incredible, updated, and comprehensive guide to the island prior to your arrival, which we used to plan our trip. It was such a great resource!

Stellar Experience in Princeville
My husband and I had a fabulous time staying here! Everything we needed was in the condo, which was very well laid-out and nicely furnished. Cooking was easy in the condo’s well-equipped kitchen area (there was also a gas grill by the pool). Bedding was comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We also appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling equipment. The property was very quiet and peaceful, with lush landscaping and a nice pool. The property was situated exactly as advertised, within a convenient walking or driving distance to shops, restaurants and many gorgeous beaches. The community the condo is in, Princeville, is really beautiful, with amazing scenery and lots of walking trails. The property owner, Lani, was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. She was quickly responsive to all of our questions both before our trip even started, and while we were there. She’s a very gracious person who made us feel completely at home in her condo. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect home base for exploring the north shore
We had a wonderful time in Kauai, and Lani's condo was perfect for recharging between full days of exploring and hiking. I also greatly appreciated the guide she put together - it is so thorough, and was super helpful for our planning. She is very communicative and friendly, and the check-in/out process was clear and easy. Everything was very tidy and comfortable, and the kitchenette is well-equipped - we made dinner one night (and used the shared grill out by the pool) and ate a few breakfasts at the condo before setting out for the day. Also appreciated the beach chairs & umbrella! I would recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping because you will want the windows open and there are other condos/people close by (and of course the roosters that are everywhere on the island - but they were actually the quietest here of anywhere we stayed). It didn't cool off much at night during our trip, but there were several nice fans that allowed us to sleep comfortably. The location is fantastic - tucked away but close to the main road - it took about 10 mins to get to Hanalei where we went several times for restaurants etc.

Great one-bed stay in Princeville
My two teen sons and I visited Kauai and stayed here for a week and explored the island. The unit was the perfect size for the three of us and featured what we needed to have a comfortable home base. Queen in the bedroom and fold out sofa worked wonderfully. Just enough kitchen area to prepare some quicker meals and store goodies from nearby Foodland. Lani was a gracious and quickly communicative host. Do take her up on her guide and recommendations. I've visited before and I was surprised by just how much snorkeling and sights right around Princeville. I'd definitely stay here again. Late-open pool right before bed with all the stars in the sky is an indelible memory.

Perfect cozy stay for our first time visiting!
Lani's place was perfect for our few day stay in Kauai. It was quaint and cozy, in a great area close to everything on the north shore, and Lani's communication and recommendations were excellent. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The multiple fans and portable water AC machine were ideal and worked amazing for hot days. The complex was beautiful and safe, and it was nice to meet area folks, and go to the weekly market just a five minute walk away. Would stay again!!

Great spot in Princeville
Lani is a terrific host who will set you up for a great stay and then assist throughout. Location is terrific with two beautiful beaches a short drive away. The condo isn't spectacular, but it doesn't need to be. It's more than enough for two. We'll be back for sure.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was everything we expected and more. We loved the Hawaiian decor and openness of the space with the high ceilings. The only thing that may have made it better (only because we were there a while) was an on site small washer/dryer.

The condo is located in Princeville which is a five min. drive to Hanalei Bay. The condo is exactly as described. The owner had lots of information about the area and was quick to respond to inquiries. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Just what we needed!
Lani, the host was amazing and so helpful! The condo was small but just what we needed. We knew we would not be cooking so not having a full kitchen or fridge was not a big deal. The space was perfect for 2 people and we had all that we needed. The condo was clean and the beach equipment was very useful. If you don’t care about having an ocean view and want a good location, this condo is great. We would stay here again!

This place was lovely, clean, quiet, and affordable. The location was perfect--we had a day without a rental car and could easily walk to the beach and to great food. Lani was very responsive and gave us tons of great advice. We will definitely stay here again!

Unit was nice and as described. Good value at a lower price than much of Princeville. Good location. Pool is nothing special and cold and only one bbq grill.

Good for a short stay
For starters Lani and Sky are great, They were very assessable and quick to respond! The unit was clean and looks like the photos. I did not see the steps that go down from the living room into the kitchen however when looking at the pictures. I forgot the steps were there several times and almost fell. The bed and the couch were very comfortable. We did not fold out the couch cause we didn’t know where to put the coffee table and large chair but it was very comfortable without folding it out. We had the things we needed for the 2 days we were there. The fridge and freezer are very small so that might not work well for a much longer stay. We appreciated the use of their Netflix account in the evening. The walls seem thin and it was noisy while we were there as they were doing some work around the pool. No fault of the owners. We also had a very annoying rooster outside that crowed for hours. That’s normal in Kauai I guess. Location is very good. We tried walking down the path to the beach but my sister fell in the mud on the way down so we didn’t continue on. Love the closeness to Hanelei Bay. Loved the North side of the island and so glad we got to experience it.

Home away from Home
My husband and I loved our escape to Princeville Kauai! Our condo was a perfect place to rest after our days’ outings. The kitchenette allowed is to eat in a couple of meals a day. The pool is a cool, clean, silky refreshing place to refresh. The outdoor patio deck has a light breeze with a beautiful green grassy back drop. The northern coast is particularly spectacular, covered with flowers and foliage of every variety and surrounded by volacanic mountains, speckled with waterfalls and magnificent ocean views. Lani and Sky were gracious and gave us spot on ideas for our many guided adventures, eateries, farmers markets, and beaches and towns to visit. This is a perfect place to build lasting memories.

My stay at the condo was great. Very nice and clean and supplied with everything I needed. Felt like home away from home. Quiet location with close parking. Sky was very helpful when I couldn't figure out how to work the TV remotes. The location is perfect for easy commute to Hanalei, Anini Beach, or Kapaa. I highly recommend staying at this condo and Lani and Sky were very accommodating.

Excellent stay in a cozy place
Our stay was most excellent. For being in a multi-unit property, there's actually a decent amount of privacy on the second floor. Our back patio looked out on trees, so we didn't feel like folks could look right in on us. Sky and Lani had a great binder with local recommendations. We were able to walk down to the shopping center for morning coffee and snacks, and a lot was available nearby. On this island, there's not a lot of difficulty getting around, and we really had no problems! Thanks you two for a most excellent stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lani and Sky s condo....I would definitely stay there again...they also had super nice beach chairs for our use and the location was great for a stay in the North part of Kauai...groceries and shops and great food very close at princeville shopping center. The sheets on the bed were so soft that I asked Lani where I could purchase some for my bed at home😃!

Very nice and peaceful condo
Really liked the space. It was close to a few stores and restaurants as well as a short walk to Anini Beach. You could hear a lot of the birds and bugs chirping at night which was relaxing for me.

Very clean, everything was in excellent working order, the bed was comfortable.
The location is quiet, full of flowers and beautiful landscaping. Perfect location. The condo had quality pots and pans, quality blender, coffee pot and toaster. Refrigerator was compact but fit all our food and I cooked every day.

Clean, and beautiful.
We had a great time in this condo. While it isn't right on the beach, it is still in a great location. We really loved Hanalei, and it was a beautiful 10 minute drive away. The condo is well appointed, and it feels like Lani and Sky really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They were great at communicating, answering any questions, and giving tips and advice on the island. I'm glad we stayed on the north side of island, I feel it is the prettiest part of the island, and staying up there made all the hiking and sight seeing we wanted to do easier. The biggest positive about choosing this condo for me was cleanliness. I read a lot of reviews while doing my search, and I don't think all of the condos are kept as clean and well maintained. We didn't see a single "palmetto bug" in the condo, and just two small little bugs and one gecko. For being on an island, this was impressive.

Perfect space to balance R&R with exploration Kauai activities.
Much enjoyed my short stay at Hala Hale. My favourite R&R activity post island exploration was simply couch surfing while looking out the patio door to the swaying trees and listening to the sounds of the rustling leaves in the island breeze. The condo is well equipped, bright and inviting and in a great spot to enjoy North Side island adventures. Lani & Sky were very efficient when following up with my questions/concerns. Great location. Quiet area within walking distance of Anini Beach, Princeville Shopping and whale watching from the bluffs. Appreciated the use of the beach chairs and umbrella. Early morning on the lenai with a cup of coffee listening to the birds .... great memories.

Home away from home!
If you want a comfortable bed, a hot shower, well-stocked kitchen, access to a beautiful beach just a few minutes walk away and great neighbors, this is the place for you!! It's easy to not even get in the car and still have a great adventurous day. My sister and I had all the comforts of home and even had it mapped out in our heads "If we lived here in this condo ..." It was fun to daydream! It was so easy to imagine living full-time in such comfort. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for making sure we got settled into our vacation dream home.
