Aloha and thank you, again, for choosing HollysKauaiCondo as home base for your Hawaiian adventure. You are absolutely right about all that Hanalei and Hanalei Bay has to offer. Turtle Cave was sort of a local secret, until the Internet changed all of our lives. The path to the cave is between building 3 & 4, marked with a sign, offering a warning. It is a short hike but it is not for everyone. We've enjoyed it over the years, but erosion has made it increasingly difficult, so we don't recommend it. It is certainly an experience, but one taken at your own risk.

Aloha. "Location" is the number 1 determinant of value/enjoyment. HollysKauaiCondo's location within Kauai's northshore resort community of Princeville, is just the beginning. The 2nd level site, with ground level access (no stairs), offers incredible convenience, as well as upper level views and greater privacy. This is all good, but panoramic oceanfront views from every room, makes it uniquely spectacular. In addition, the view is north facing, so sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed without the harsh glare of the sun and reflected rays. But, we like your succinct description of the views: "Unbeatable". Aloha! Mahalo nui loa for so succinctly framing HollysKauaiCondo! We live in Arizona, so seeing water--the Pacific Ocean-- is a big treat. The condo is relatively unique in that it is built parallel to the ocean, thus allowing the same panoramic oceanfront view from every room. We believe that if one is visiting an island, they should be able to enjoy the ocean views every minute that they are in the property. An added bonus is being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean's waves, while underneath a blanket of stars, along with the cool sea breezes drifting over you. Ahhhh, paradise! Please return. Aloha! Mahalo nui loa for volunteering that "AC is totally unnecessary". It is a leap of faith for some guests to reserve the property, without air conditioning. It sounds self-serving for us to say that AC is not needed for most people, so we appreciate you saying it. Besides the trade winds, as you know, there are ceiling fans to aid in cooling, if desired. Aloha, Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed your Spring Break at HollysKauaiCondo. Typically, the trade winds blowing in one side of the home and out the other is more than adequate to maintain a comfortable temperature, Should the trade wind fail, the ceiling fans usually do the trick. But, if that fails, there are several portable fans, available. We've asked the property manager to verify that the portable fans work and if not to replace them. We work remotely, each time we visit the condo. Thankfully, the wifi does allow us to work seamlessly, though we're a little embarrassed to call it "work", while we enjoy a panoramic oceanfront view, along with the island sounds and cool breeze. In June 2020, we visited the property, but had to quarantine in the property for 14 days. The property is unique in several ways. First, it is built parallel to the ocean so every room has the same expansive oceanfront view. Secondly, while it is a level above the ground, giving enhanced views, privacy and access to the trade winds, there are no stairs to it or within it. Aloha! Fantastic to hear that your family enjoyed its visit to Kauai and to HollysKauaiCondo. Thank you for your kind words. When the pandemic hit and Kauai vacation rentals were prohibited from having guests, we visited our property. We were required to fulfill a strict 14 day quarantine. So, speaking from experience, we spent a majority of our time on the lanai. It was our salvation. We even came to know the visiting birds and they us.
