"The hotel is getting older and the AC was fairly loud but the room was clean and the front desk was friendly and accommodating."

"The bed was so dirty, sheets were stained. Blankets had all kinds of filth on them. Towels were dirty and dingy, extremely old and thin and rough. Hairs everywhere throughout the room. The chair had multiple stains on it. Took a good 4-5 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Do not stay here! Yuck"

"we stayed on the ground floor and the hotel does have an issue with critters coming in overnight. Every morning we were dodging dozens of grasshoppers, and had a large scorpion spider and cockroach in our room. I understand this is the climate and the ground floor, but some better insulation around doors would help keep those out. Otherwise, it was a great stay."

"This is an older motel. In my opinion, it is more than a 2 star motel. All rooms are first floor, guaranteed no climbing stairs to a room (-: My room was very clean. The building trim could use some paint to enhance the exterior. Shower was a smaller stall, but was fine for me. I plan to go back again this year for relaxation and exploring. It is very close to Shields Date Farm, where there is a restaurant, date-related gift shop, and The Garden Walk, a free, beautifully done meandering walkway with sculptures and scriptures depicting the entire life of Jesus Christ The Village Coffee Shop is a great place for breakfast; it is located in Citrus Plaza, which is about a mile southwest.
