"The hotel and rooms are very dated. The furniture in room is old and scratched. The host did not provide any instructions to access the hotel prior to arrival. There was no AC working ( a plug-in was given for mosquitoes), no fridge, no water, Tea or coffee in the room. The tv was small and outdated. The room was poorly decorated. There were only 2 pillows for the bed. No other pillow in the room. The breakfast was an additional 10 euros per guest. The parking another 8 euros- the stay was very overpriced for what was offered. "

"We recently visited this place and were initially impressed by the beautiful surroundings and well-manicured garden. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we entered our room. It was stuffy, poorly lit, and had an unpleasant odor of cat urine and very strong scented cleaning products. To make matters worse, the room didn't match the photos we had seen online. We were disappointed that there was no one available to speak with about our concerns, and we couldn't request a room change. We were even willing to pay a difference. Due to the lack of support, we decided to leave. We have reached out to customer service several times since, and have had zero response from them. Hopefully, the issues we faced will be addressed to prevent future guests from having similar disappointments."

"We had a brilliant 10 days at Villa Fenice. From the warm greeting when we arrived, the host's recommendations for beaches and places to eat to the stunning views to wake up to every morning; our holiday was amazing.The accommodation is well equipped. The pool is great and cleaned regularly. There is plenty of outdoor space to eat and relax. There is a supermarket 6 minutes away which is well stocked. We couldn't have asked for more. Brilliant hosts, brilliant villa, stunning scenery and we cannot recommend this villa enough. Thank you so much, Giovanni and Antonello! We hope to see you again soon."

"We spent a week at Dreamhouse Scopello with a group of 12, a mix of teens and adults. The pool was a much loved feature of the villa, especially during the very hot Sicilian days. The pool is larger than it seems in the pictures. The patio and pool areas are spacious and there are a variety of seating options, enough for a group of 12. Parking was easy and can fit 4 cars. There’s good AC in every room. It was wonderful to have a washroom for every bedroom, although some showers are tight. The house provided a starter pack of supplies but definitely plan on a trip to the supermarket for a week’s supply. The property manger was very responsive to our requests and questions. We recommend the location if you are comfortable driving and are looking for destinations along Sicily’s northern shore. "

"We had a lovely week at Ulivo Blu. Having had issues with our flight, we were extremely late arriving, but one of our hosts took the time to send us videos of exactly how to access the place and collect our keys - so helpful. The accommodation was clean and simple, but had everything we needed, including a huge - and very comfortable - bed and, most importantly, working aircon in all rooms. Probably THE highlight though was the pool - it's very well kept, with lovely clean water and what a gorgeous backdrop! The only small issue we had was that the sink in the kitchen was unusable due to a serious leak in the u-bend. Staff came to try and fix it, but a plumber was needed and, this being on Sicilian time, no plumber arrived during our week-long stay. No big deal though, as we just used a bathroom sink (there were 2 to choose from) for washing up.Overall I'd say that Ulivo Blu is a really lovely place to stay. It has a very laid back air of somewhere that had maybe seen better days, but it is still well kept and is well away from the bustle of busier places while still being very well situated for getting around northwest Sicily. Would we go back? Yes, in a heartbeat!"
