"Beautiful little hotel in quiet area. Walkable to little town and tons of good options. Very quaint area. Pool is lovely. Hotel is not on the water. If you want to go to the beach, you must book in advance at tonnara di Scopello. We hadn’t and so could not go down. The zingaro nature reserve was also closed due to a fire. The area is still worth a visit, but book the beach before you arrive. We were even off season. "

"We spent a week at Dreamhouse Scopello with a group of 12, a mix of teens and adults. The pool was a much loved feature of the villa, especially during the very hot Sicilian days. The pool is larger than it seems in the pictures. The patio and pool areas are spacious and there are a variety of seating options, enough for a group of 12. Parking was easy and can fit 4 cars. There’s good AC in every room. It was wonderful to have a washroom for every bedroom, although some showers are tight. The house provided a starter pack of supplies but definitely plan on a trip to the supermarket for a week’s supply. The property manger was very responsive to our requests and questions. We recommend the location if you are comfortable driving and are looking for destinations along Sicily’s northern shore. "

"We had a lovely week at Ulivo Blu. Having had issues with our flight, we were extremely late arriving, but one of our hosts took the time to send us videos of exactly how to access the place and collect our keys - so helpful. The accommodation was clean and simple, but had everything we needed, including a huge - and very comfortable - bed and, most importantly, working aircon in all rooms. Probably THE highlight though was the pool - it's very well kept, with lovely clean water and what a gorgeous backdrop! The only small issue we had was that the sink in the kitchen was unusable due to a serious leak in the u-bend. Staff came to try and fix it, but a plumber was needed and, this being on Sicilian time, no plumber arrived during our week-long stay. No big deal though, as we just used a bathroom sink (there were 2 to choose from) for washing up.Overall I'd say that Ulivo Blu is a really lovely place to stay. It has a very laid back air of somewhere that had maybe seen better days, but it is still well kept and is well away from the bustle of busier places while still being very well situated for getting around northwest Sicily. Would we go back? Yes, in a heartbeat!"

" We were totally delighted with our stay at the villa. The standard of facilities is extremely high and there was a sense of luxury and total comfort. We dealt with the owners who were charming, friendly and extremely supportive. My partner is disabled and uses a wheelchair and tje owner even supplied a ramp onto the patio from the car parking area as well as bed support. The rooms were very clean with fresh bedding and towels available after the first week. All bedrooms are ensuite and this gave us all privacy which we loved. The region offered us wonderful places to visit..Castellamare del Golfo, Scapello, Erice, San Vito lo Capo, Trapani...as well as plenty of excellent restaurants with wide menu choices at very competitive prices... in all this was the best villa we have ever rented and would highly recommend a stay here... First class in so many ways. Complimenti. "
