The best area to stay in Premuda is the main village, which is centrally located and offers the most convenient access to amenities and activities.

This area is the heart of the island, where you'll find the main harbour, a few local restaurants, and a small shop for essentials. The village is compact and easily walkable, with most accommodations offering views of the Adriatic Sea. It's an excellent base for exploring the island's natural beauty, including its walking trails and secluded coves.

Couples looking for a relaxing and intimate getaway will find the main village particularly appealing. Its quiet atmosphere, stunning sea views, and limited distractions make it superb for unwinding. You can enjoy romantic dinners by the water, take leisurely strolls, and discover hidden swimming spots together.

For those interested in water activities, staying in the main village is ideal. The harbour provides easy access for boat trips to nearby islets or diving excursions to the famous "Cathedral" cave system.

The best time to visit Premuda for ideal weather conditions and fewer crowds is during the shoulder seasons of late May to June and September to early October.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm, great for swimming and outdoor activities, without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find the island less crowded than in July and August, allowing for a more relaxed experience at beaches and restaurants. This balance of good weather and fewer people makes it a great time for couples and solo travellers looking for a tranquil escape.

For those who enjoy a lively option and don't mind larger crowds, July and August offer the warmest sea temperatures and the most sunshine. This is peak season, so the island will be at its busiest, with all facilities and excursions fully operational.
