"The resort is in a very quiet area. They could have a small shop for essentials. There was a pool bar but unfortunately it was closed. The cleaners were hit and miss not their fault, but meant we had no cleaning and the bin not emptied. There was no facility to empty the bin ourselves. The rooms were dated and could do with some sprucing up. No information on what was around. Handy for the beach."

"What was supposed to be an "almost" perfect week of vacation turned into a horrific, irreversible mess for me, my parents, and my son upon arrival. We arrived at Manta Rota at 12:30 p.m., in intense heat, after a four-hour drive. When we arrived at the address indicated on the Holidu/Vrbo booking platform, the house we had reserved wasn't the one. When I tried to call the platform's contact information, the host wasn't Mr. António. In short, after several attempts to contact the number on the accommodation in front of me and the platform's number, I realized something very strange had happened. In the desperation that our reservation wasn't being held, it "seemed" to me that "attempts for help from other accommodations" were emerging. I strongly advise you to double-check your reservations to avoid being scammed! After almost two hours of calling, we managed to contact the booking platform directly, get the host's correct name and contact information, and finally headed to the house rented on the platform, which was located directly opposite Manta Rota!! "Luck was coming"... and the house wasn't ready for delivery... because the platform didn't make the necessary updates in a timely manner!! Instead of checking in at 3:30 PM, we didn't get in until 4:45 PM... Now, the vacation began! The house was exactly as I booked: excellent, clean, good sheets, towels, dishes, all the necessary kitchen and dining utensils, dishwasher, washing machine,a great terrace where we ate our meals"
