Not as expected
First of all no service at all during arrival. Code to the entry door at the street did not work.. check in through a kiosk on level 5 where the elevator was avalible, got a room on floor 3 in a different staircase without elevator.
Room was nice and clean but had no ventilation or control to the ac. The room did not have any noise insulation so every sound from the hallway could have been in the room.
Also breakfast and reception was 10 min walk away along with the bag storage room ( we had a couple of hours before transfer)
Very convenient location, 7 minutes walk to the city center. 4 minutes walk to a subway station. Many restaurants and cafes nearby!! Room was comfortable and exactly what we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this property for any visitors to Praque!!

The building was a converted office building. It was old, dark and lacked amenities.
Room was fine, but was located in a different place than the main hotel. Much confusion by both me and the hotel management about how I was able to book the room, as it had been closed for covid. Consequently the check in process was a bit of a mess, that was eventually sorted out. Note that room is about 10 blocks from main hotel where (a good) breakfast is served. Nice people, just logistically complex.
It was an absolute mess to go through the automated self check-in kiosk process, which didn’t work and required us to call concierge to do some tech support. Automated self check-out also didn’t work. Door buzzer code worked intermittently. Shower pressure wasn’t even strong enough to cover the full shower space.
Basically, this stay was a contradiction - nice room and comfy space, but lots of random annoyances and frustrations.
I would give it a 5 stars BUT.
it’s the hotel without reception only with self checking kiosk. So if you have an issue with check in application, in our case it was frozen on one page, you are actually stuck without help. And as a tourist that just arrived to Czechia I did not have local provider to make a call. So literally you are alone with the comp that at that moment didn’t work. It should be solution for such cases.
Liten hiss till fina rum på 5:e våningen.
Reception och frukost ligger knapt 10 minuter bort i närheten av Karlsbron.
Personal mötte upp vid den annars annonyma ingången till boendet.
They have pictures that show a nice cosy reception in a building that match old Prague. They didn't have a reception no signs on the street or on the building.
We had to find the phone no to them on the website, the first two nos from their website didn't respond or didn't know them. Finally we found a man living in the building who helped us contact them. They came with the key 15 min later. The room was cold and not well equiped, no chairs no bin ect.

1. There was a changed of plan and I arrived one day later then originally intended. I notified the owners but there was no response the Expedia web site has oferred no solution other than cancelling the whole reservation with no refund.
2. There are two "old town residence" in Prague, the one is Jilská street was the one in which Google maps directed me and I waisted quite a lot of time until I found out that I was in the wrong place. The correct place is Maiselova street.
3. When I arrived at Maiselova street there was no one there and no phone number on the closed door that you can call.
4. After a lot of time I found in the e-mail a phone number to call and finally somebody arrive and gave me the key.
5. Probably the worst experience I had ever in booking a hotel room.
Had a great 10 days at Prague Old Town Residence. Called the provided number when we were about 5 minutes away and were met by a nice young man who showed us to our room on the 5th floor. Easy... Location was absolutely perfect. Everything you could want was within 10 minute walk. If not, Uber would meet right @ door. AC was good and necessary while there. Bed was super comfortable as were linens and pillows. Fridge was a nice touch and room was modern and roomy. Bathroom was very modern as well. Plenty quiet and easily acceptable. Absolutely zero complaints; highly recommended. Thanks!!
Perfect location in the heart of the Jewish quarte
Very nice and spacious room. Modern bathroom. Very clean and comfortable.

All in all disapointing!
We waitet about two hours until we could enter the room we booked. Although the guy at the telephone told us, he would be waiting for us as long as it tooks, there was no one available. Never again!!!
We had a driver which was good because the reception and breakfast area is a 10 minute walk from the 5th floor apartments where we were located. We booked 3 rooms and ended up with 2 on the 5th floor and another on the 1st floor accessible from the back. As stated in other reviews, the elevator can handle 3 people max or 2 people with some luggage. A larger group will have to shuttle people up and down to move in or out of your rooms. As also stated by others, the check-in could be confusing. We were told to go to the reception by email and just the day before and when we got there we were told someone would handle check in at the room location. If we had missed the email about the location, or if the check in man was late it could definitely be a problem. As it was, everything went well but only because we came to Prague in a vehicle with a knowledgeable driver. I would not recommend this hotel for a late check in or for those without a phone. Our rooms were all as shown on Expedia. One room (1st floor, room 8) did not have AC. The rooms were large and comfortable but they could use more than one chair. The bathrooms look nice but unfortunately they used gloss tiles for the shower floors which is a safety no-no that no hotel owner would normally do. Our rooms were surprisingly quiet for an inner city location with great access to all the tourist amenities you want. The walk to breakfast didn't present a problem for us as we just built it in to our daily plans.
I visited Prague with my family. We had four rooms, all of which were comfortable. Good beds, clean showers, mini bars. A few things to note, though.
First of all, don't let the pictures mislead you - there is no front desk. Well, there is, but it's at another location 10 minutes away. So don't expect to call down for another towel or anything. Also, the shower, while otherwise quite nice, is extremely slippery. My father put a towel on the floor of his to keep from having a fall. Finally, our rooms were all on the fifth floor. I believe this is the only part of the building for this hotel; the other floors are all offices of other businesses. So get ready for some cardio. (There is one elevator, but it's tiny, only big enough for two people. And there were seven of us.)
The staff, while (literally) remote, were quite friendly and helpful at check-in, and offered to drive us all to the location. And the location itself was lovely, right in the middle of the Jewish Quarter of the Old Town. Near plenty of restaurants, shops, and historical sites, and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of a city.
Long story short: as long as you know what you're getting, it's a great place to stay. I recommend it.
Quietly located but plenty of problems to check-in
It was very inconvenient to check-in especailly who does not have iPhone. The gentlema who took care of me is not so unrelable not keeping his promised meeting time. When he said to wait 5 minutes meat 30 minutes ! Plenty of dust under the desk of room, though the walls were clean white which satisfied me but the room did not have airconditioner which could be a serious problem in hot days, I think.
