I was in Prague for a wekend, catching up with some friends. The Merkur provided excellent value for money - I had a spacious, clean and comfortable ensuite room. I didn't take breakfast. However, the cafe and bar were available to all customers (and the public) was breakfast was over. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is centrally located - the Old Town Square is only a short walk away. I wouold definitely stay in the Merkur again, if and when I return to Prague.

Very friendly staff, allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated. Great walking distance from old town. We were offered a bottle of water upon checkout which was a small but very kind gesture. 10/10 for value and location.

Good Hotel
Hotel well located . Breakfast good variety . Lobby staff helpful . Only slight issue one room sink was blocked which was sorted out, other rooms shower over the bath flooded the bathroom as bath screen not working, otherwise good hotel .

We have some problem while check in Because expedia missing my booking for 2 rooms but when we are ahown our booking with expedia hotel staff try to confirm and room is too small so we cannot take a room So staff hotel is Mr. Vlastimil he is a kind man and help me for slove problem he is a good staff and take care my group

Merkur Prague - a misleading horrible experience.
I was very disappointed from this stay: the 4 star rating is over exagérâtes and misleading - at best I would rate this place as a Motel - beds, mattresses and pillows were old and made of a cheap pieces of synthetic foam, so you sweat all night long and your back hearts from not resting in a straight position. No AC in the room so you have to open the window and hear the tram and cars passing by. Bathroom - quite a challenge to get water at the right temperature and the door filled with humidity is not closing. Floors are old, paint is peeling… 300$ per night for such low quality is a scam !

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay here. The breakfast is so wonderful to have a combination of continental breakfast and english breakfast. They even allowed us even beyond the time limit. Love it!

The staff went above and beyond expectations. I needed forms printed on 2 separate occasions and they were most helpful and didn’t even charge me. My grandson left some souvenirs behind after check out and I was still in town and they had them ready for me to pick up. They were excellent with customer service. Highly recommend this hotel Merkur

Direkt vor der Haustür fährt eine Straßenbahn (die man aber nicht hört), gute Anbindung also an den Nahverkehr. Nur 10min bis zum Zentrum, kostenlose Parkplätze vor Ort, aber begrenzt. Zimmer anscheinend leicht hellhörig. nettes Personal welche gutes Englisch sprechen. Betten waren sauber und gut gepoltert. Ein Safe war ebenfalls auf dem Zimmer und einfach bedienbar.

Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut, Zimmer zum Innenhof schön ruhig. Verkehrsanbindung sehr gut= Strassenbahn vor der Tür Linie 14 fährt bis ins Zentrum. Metrostation 5min zu Fuß.

Good value for money
We spent one night in a family room with 4 beds. Spacious and clean. Reception staff were really nice and helpful. To walk to old town takes approx 20 min. Parking in a gated parking lot. Good value for money at this hotel.

Voor de prijs was het best ok, loopafstand van het centrum en van een knooppunt van het ov. Minder was de kwaliteit van het bed wat erg hard was. Op een houten plank zou je een kwalitatief beter matras moeten gebruiken. Andere opmerking is de waterleiding want als naburige kamers water gebruiken lijkt het of er een f16 straaljager door de leidingen gaat

Très bon hôtel. Bien placé. Rapport qualité prix Excellent vu le quartier vous ne trouverez pas mieux. Hôtel très propre rien à redire. Juste petit bémol. Lit 2 places côte à côte et 2 couettes une place. Sinon tout est nickel.

Fint, centralt beliggende hotel. Tæt på offentlig transport let at komme omkring i Prag. Hotellet er af ældre dato, pæne værelser. Hotellet står til at have 4 stjerner men da vi kom derned var der 3 stjerner på hotellets logo. Køleskabet var ikke fyldt op på alle værelser. Morgenmaden var ok, der er meget at vælge imellem. Personalet var flinke og imødekommende.

Onze eerste indruk was dat dit niet een 4-sterren hotel is. De bedden stonden vreemd opgesteld en stond een extra bed, waarom weten we niet, maar hierdoor bleef er weinig ruimte over. Een van de nachtkastjes stond zelfs onder het bureau. De kamer was wel schoon. We waren aangenaam verrast door het ontbijtbuffet. Hotel is tevens op loopafstand van de oude stad. We zijn hier 2 nachten gebleven en het was overall toch goed.

schnell in Altstadt und bei Sehenswürdigkeiten direkter Parkplatz vor dem Hotel (zwar kostenpflichtig, aber immerhin) - nicht barrierefrei (um zum Fahrstuhl zu kommen, muss man eine kleine Treppe gehen) - Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber Zimmer sehr klein (eher für eine Person) - sehr lauter Wasserhahn und Dusche (Wasserhahn des Nachbarzimmers war sogar zu hören) - knarrerender Fußboden - leises Insbettgehen also gar nicht möglich - insgesamt sehr abgewohnt - Personal überfordert beim Frühstücksbuffet - es fehlten oft Gläser, Schüsseln, es waren keine Brötchen da usw. - auf Tragen der Maske (Corona ist noch da) wird nicht geachtet - auch nicht beim Buffet - Wlan ging zwischendurch nicht - nur zwei Balken Ingesamt für einen schönen Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen. Wenn man wirklich nur die Nacht verbringen muss, reicht es vielleicht.
