We really appreciated the Quality linens, towels, and special touches throughout the house. Super proximity to the town of Delmar and the ocean. Everything was walkable.. "We've been staying at this property almost every year for a number of years now. We still love it. It's not super fancy but has everything we need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing week at the beach. It's perfect for us! Great views to watch the dolphins and the sunset, just off the boardwalk to avoid the extra noise, and easy to go back and forth between the beach and meal times or potty breaks. We'd buy it if it ever went up for sale, it's that enjoyable!"

"This quiet, beautiful neiborhood is walking distance to Balboa Park, coffee shops, grocery, and Switzer Canyon (a must if you like to hike!) Easy drive to downtown, waterfront and museums. Cottage is well equipped and, as the title says, very charming. Sheets and towels super plush. A definite 5 star."

"Overall, it was a fantastic stay at the Vista cottage. The cottage has ample space and is well outfitted for a lengthy stay. It is also located close to many north San Diego County attractions and was only 5 minutes from our son's place. It is minutes away from freeway access and shopping. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom had a full closet with plenty of space to hang clothes. The washer/dryer came in handy and there was plenty of towels/linens for your stay. All the appliances looked new...

"Communication with the host and check in/check out were very easy. You could see into the house from the doors of the guest house but they put blinds on the guest house doors in case you wanted privacy. The iron was leaky and the plugs on the power strip that was left of the bed did not work. The location was great and we could walk to food/public transportation."

The location was spectacular, so close to the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops on Newport Ave. The casita is extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed. The home was clean and comfortable, quiet and inviting. Dora was also exceptionally kind and accommodating. She allowed us an early check-in and a late check-out and was fully responsive throughout. "My husband took our 2 teen daughters to Lynn’s place this past week for 4 nights. It was spectacular! The views are incredible, and the sunsets were unbelievable. We sat several nights on the deck and just watched all the people walking and enjoying the coastline with their adorable dogs! The cottage is fully stocked and adorably decorated. The beds are SO comfortable! We will definitely be back, Encinitas is the coolest spot and a great place to see and visit the San Diego area! Thank you Lynn!"

Good thing I had a mini cooper that I could fit in the garage with a couple tries (though could have been my poor parking skills.) Wonderful location. "With the beach just foot steps away I knew I would love this place. The cottage was perfect for our stay. The sights and sounds of Mission Blvd were exactly as I imagined. "My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in January. It was convenient to lots of restaurants in OB and to major tourist attractions. We took the bus downtown a couple of times and the bus stop is just around the corner. The cottage is clean and has everything we needed."

"The cottage was beautiful and true to the listing it was a short walk to the beach. We brought our two dogs with us, which was great to find a place that allowed pets. It was nice having a full kitchen, though I didn’t read prior to that there was no microwave. But that would be the only negative I have. I also am not sure if I just couldn’t figure out the pull out couch situation (not enough bed space with my wife and baby). I tried to see handles to pull out a bed but didn’t see any. It might...
