  • If you enjoy hiking while enjoying the sea air of Brittany, this cottage is for you!
    It's a cozy cottage surrounded by woods, meadows, and sunken lanes. It's very quiet, located between land and sea in southern Finistère, 6 km from the ports of Douarnenez and a 15-minute drive from Audierne Bay and its vast sandy beaches. This home was completely renovated in June 2020 and is tastefully decorated and furnished. You'll enjoy peace and quiet surrounded by lush greenery.
    Enjoy leisurely walks around your cottage!
    This tastefully renovated one-bedroom apartment measures 45 m² and faces south, with a bedroom (queen-size bed) that stays cool during the hottest months, a shower room, a separate toilet, and an open-plan kitchen. This cottage is ideal for relaxing and sleeping comfortably, with its shutters.
    South-facing terrace (freestanding parasol, table and chairs, deckchairs, and barbecue). In Douarnenez, visit the old port of Rosmeur and its sailors' bistros, Port-Rhu, Tristan Island, the Tréboul coast dedicated to thalassotherapy and beach fun, and the majestic cliffs of Plomarc'h. Head to Cap Sizun to discover Audierne and Pointe du Raz. The Pays Bigouden is just a stone's throw away with its four iconic fishing ports. Pointe de la Jument, the maritime trail par excellence on the GR 34; the list of wonders to discover is long.

We stayed for 1 week in this lovely gîte. Catherine and Jean are perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful. The location was great, lots of walks for our dog to enjoy. Bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend, we hope to return again soon.

An Enjoyable Short Break

Jean and Catherine were delightful host. Everything in the house was as it said in the advert. A good area for exploring this part of Finistére. Our dog was made very welcome and enjoyed the walks available from the house. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Un séjour super agréable dans le calme breton

Avec notre chienne, mon mari et moi nous avons passé deux semaines et quatre jours très agréables à Ker’homen. L'appartement se trouve à environ huit minutes en voiture de la ville de Douarnenez. Alors, on a pu y faire nos courses ainsi que profiter de la ville et du port pour se promener. En plus, l’appartement est très bien placé pour faire de la randonnée, p. ex. sur le GR34. L’appartement même est moderne avec une cuisine très bien équipée – il y a tout ce qu’il faut et même plus. Aussi, nous avons apprécié que l'appartement soit décoré soigneusement et avec beaucoup de goût. Alors, c’est un endroit où on est très, très bien. Il en va de même pour la grande terrasse dont nous avons pu profiter beaucoup. D’ailleurs, elle est juste comment nous l’avons imaginée en Bretagne, décorée avec des hortensias magnifiques. Et pour finir, Catherine et Jean sont des hôtes fort sympathiques et communicatifs qui sont là si on a besoin de quelque chose. Donc, l’appartement à Ker'homen c’est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et reprendre des forces pour la vie de tous les jours.

Traumhafte Tage in der Bretagne

Wir hatten mit unserer Retriever Dame drei erholsame und entspannte Wochen. In landschaftlich ruhiger Umgebung mit Nähe zur der charmanten Küstenstadt Douarnenez verbrachten wir eine abwechslungsreiche, interessante Zeit mit vielen spannenden Wanderungen entlang der Küste mit Blick auf die Weite des Meeres. Unsere beiden Vermieter - Catherine und Jean - sind zwei ausgesprochen herzliche Bretonen, und immer offen für Tipps zu Ausflügen in der Umgebung und für jegliche Anliegen ansprechbar. Die Wohnung ist modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet; die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Ruhige Lage auf dem Land

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig abseits des Verkehrs und der Urlauberströme auf dem Land, ist aber trotzdem gut erreichbar. Die Ferienwohnung im Erdgeschoss eines alten Landhauses aus dem 19. Jh ist modern und komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr gut geeignet für zwei Personen. Die Besitzer Jean und Catherine sind sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Da direkt gegenüber ein Bauernhof liegt, gibt es manchmal Besuch vom großen Hofhund, der aber zutraulich und friedlich ist. Weniger angenehm sind die vielen Fliegen, aber so ist das halt auf dem Land ;-)
