"The staff were polite and friendly. However the two people at the deal said they were both new and still learning, so check in was a little slower than normal. The elevator was a little scary, making load noises and was a little jerky on the way up. The room was spacious and sofa was comfortable. There were 2 large TV’s, one in the sitting area and one in the bedroom. There were some minor maintenance issues(toilet seat loose & bathroom outlet did not work) which I brought up to management. The floors were not as clean as they should be. They were gritty and there were multiple small black hair ties on the floor. The bed was as about as comfortable as sleeping on a plank of wood and the pillows were as thin as a pancake. I would not stay in this hotel again."

"We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now, and are always impressed. Despite being an extra hour’s drive after an already long day, we continue to choose this location because of all it offers. The welcome is always sincere, the reception area is bright and airy, and the rooms are consistently incredibly clean. During our most recent check-in, Sydney was immensely sweet and helpful. After a long drive, her warm and welcoming attitude was exactly what we needed and made for a delightful arrival. It is clear that the hotel takes pride in creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for its guests, and that consistency is what keeps us coming back."

"Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was definitely a highlight with a nice selection of options. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to take advantage of the amenities, so I can't really comment on those. My only real complaint was that the room was a bit noisy, and I could hear more outside noise than I would have liked. If you're just looking for a convenient, clean place to stay with a good breakfast, it's a solid choice."

"Here's a warm, polished review you could post: We had our annual family vacation at Mystic Lodge in Dayton, Tennessee, and it was the perfect place for our group of 23, ranging in age from 5 months to 71 years old.Both the lodge and the retreat building were exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The pool was large enough for everyone to enjoy at the same time, and we had so much fun playing volleyball with an inflatable beach ball.The younger adult men made great use of the weight room every day, but the real highlight of the week was The Tavern. The pool table, movie theater, and video game arcade were in constant use, and the bar area became our family's puzzle headquarters throughout the week. There truly was something for every age.We all commented on how beautiful the property must be in the fall and winter, and we'd love to come back during another season to experience it.The driveway is steep, but don't let that discourage you. We had eight vehicles and never had any problems parking or getting in and out.We made wonderful family memories here and would absolutely recommend Mystic Lodge for large family gatherings or reunions. It was a fantastic place to relax, have fun, and spend quality time together. "
