I booked a room 6 which has two separate beds as i was traveling with a work colleague. When we arrived they had changed our room to room 5 which only has one bed. I contacted a person through automated chat ( the owner iam guessing ) who in turn contacted someone else and got back to me. I was then informed that all the rooms had gone by the time i arrived which was approximately half an hour after the 4pm check in time so i had been"upgraded" to a bed with only one room. When i asked how was it an upgrade if it only had one bed i was told that it was a bigger room. How is taking away a bed an up grade? I did go there to do aerobatics.. i went to sleep in a bed... a separate one from my companion.
I was then offered a refund or alternatively they would pass on my details to find us somewhere else to stay but we had to be at the venue in an hour or so and there just wasnt time.
So i accepted that we would just have to spend an uncomfortable night in the same bed.
I feel very let down. The person i spoke to really couldnt care less. Sent an automated message to "enjoy my stay". Well i didnt!
Also the cutains didnt draw properly, the room was freezing cold as the radiators werent on, just had a small fan heater to heat this "larger" room.
They were dirty stains on the duvet. The pillows were flat and lifeless and there was a moldy shower mat in the shower with hair in the plughole.
Its a big NO from me.
