The perfect stay

This hotel is gorgeous and the staff were all amazing. The rooms were modern and well equipped and the size of the rooms will make you smile with excitement. Be sure to eat in the restaurant in the evening as the sun goes down overlooking the old city on the hill and the Marina!

Durchwegs angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, hilft bei Problemen und erfüllt jeden Wunsch. Die Villa mit privatem Pool war sehr grosszügig gestaltet und ermöglichte eine Menge Privatsphäre. Frühstück eher teuer. Das Restaurant ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert (auch für Vegetarier).

Très bel hôtel avec un cadre très agréable. Les chambre sont très spacieuses et confortables. La propreté est au rendez vous. Cependant le service n'est pas a la hauteur d'un hôtel cinq hôtel. Ce qui aurait été acceptable dans un hôtel 4 étoiles avec une chambre deux fois moins chère l'est moins ici. Un exemple simple : un voiturier récupère votre voiture obligatoirement à l'arrivée, quand vous voulez la récupérer le soir on vous donne les clefs et ont vous demande d'aller a la recherche de la voiture dans le parc de l'hôtel (quand on a un rdv et qu'on a déjà du retard c'est ennuyeux). Une dame qui a oublié sa serviette de piscine dans la chambre et qui en demande une a l'accueil est prié de remonter chercher la sienne dans la chambre (qu'est ce que ça coûte de fournir une serviette suplementaire pour rendre service à cette cliente?)... Autre point négatif le restaurant. Je conseille plutôt de sortir pour manger. Au final le séjour c'est globalement bien passé. Quelques discordance entre la qualité du service et le standing de l'hôtel.

Une déception dans un cadre idyllique

Helpful staff d'entendre des bruits de tuyauterie qui viennent de chez nous lorsque l'on se douche. Un petit hôtel sympathique avec des très grandes prétentions au niveau du standing. Malheureusement ça ne marche qu’une fois sur trois. L’hôtel est désertique en pleine haute saison. Connection WiFi pénible. La plage annoncée comme “petite” est en effet petite. Avec de l’eau trouble, une certaine odeur et une « profondeur » de 80cm. Le restaurant est ok, sans plus, alors que les prix sont aberrants. Nous avons pris deux chambres pour une semaine. Le matin dés 7 heures les personnes vivant au-dessus faisaient leur toilette et nous écoutions l’eau s’écouler en cascade dans le coin de notre magnifique chambre à 800 euros la nuit. Suite à deux e-mails, une proposition de changement pour une autre chambre de même taille mais moins bien organisée ou une junior suite qui se situe juste au-dessous de la nôtre (donc a les mêmes tuyaux venant d’en haut), nous avons finalement reçu une nouvelle chambre et passions enfin nos 2 dernières nuits confortablement. Mes trois étoiles sont attribuées au design magnifique et au personnel fantastique. Tanja, son équipe de réception ainsi que les jeunes hommes méritent un 5/5!

Bel hôtel bel environnement. Excellent confort. Mais manque une navette pour Porto vecchio. Don Cesar är ett relativt nytt välbeläget hotell strax norr om Porto Vecchio. Härlig om givning vid vattnet och flera fina pooler. Bilen blir bra omhändertagen, även om vägen dit är lite dåligt markerat. Bra reception med bra information och ledsagad till rummet, som var utmärkt och rymligt med bra badrum och fin terrass. Spa finns men vi använde det inte. Den stora besvikelsen var middagen, maten var bra, men servicen var verkligen dålig. Den var så dålig att vi undrade om det var en utbildningsfråga? Frukosten hade liknande drag, men var bättre. Summering: väldigt fin och fräsch anläggning med fina rum, men den dåliga servicen förstärkte känslan om brist på värde för pengarna. Don Cesar har väldigt högt pris , så om man lever upp till den 5* kvalitetsförväntan kan denna fina anläggning möjligen finna sin nisch

We were extremely impressed with every aspect of the Don Cesar and have never before encountered staff so friendly and eager to take care of its guests' every need. Just one minor disappointment - the main pool could have been warmer. And be aware that should you decide to walk into town, it's probably going to take you 30 minutes. Otherwise it's perfect.

Nagyon konzervatív stílusú, de szép szálloda, minden nagyon átgondolt és igényes benne, fantasztikus az ételek, a reggeli kicsit prózai. Klasszak a medencék, a tengerparti rész kevéssé kiépített. Leginkább pihenésre alkalmas, kevésbé az aktív nyaralásra.

Honteux pour un établissement 5 étoiles !

En effet pour notre première nuit nous avons la désagréable surprise de na pas avoir d'électricité dans notre chambre de 23h à 5h du matin ! Ce qui signifie pas de lumière pour ma compagne qui fait de l'achluophobie (peur extrême du noir avec grosses crises d'angoisse), pas de téléphone pour contacter qui que ce soit, pas de climatisation dans un chambre à plus de 30° et pour couronner le tout pas possibilité d'ouvrir les rideaux de la fenêtre puisque eux aussi électriques ! Nous voilà donc à attendre à l'extérieur jusqu'au petit matin avec comme excuse "ne vous inquiétez pas nous allons informer la direction afin que vous soit fait un geste commercial." Et quel geste commercial ! puisque la veille de notre départ était présent sur le lit la facture de la chambre comportant non seulement toutes les nuits, mais de surcroit avec un solde à régler une nouvelle fois car "soit disant" expédia n'aurait pas pris en charge la chambre. Apres un coup de fil passé depuis la réception, Expedia confirme bien à l'hôtesse que tout est payé et concernant notre nuit passé dehors me direz vous ? et bien Mme M.A. C. responsable du Don césar s'est dédouané du problème en nous précisant que c'était suite à un client qui avait trop bu et que celui-ci avait détérioré une applique provoquant un court circuit, ce qui était indépendant de sa volonté et que donc nous ne pouvions pas avoir de la gratuité de la nuit passé à attendre ! Inadmissible pour un établissement de cet ordre !
