"Hotel is situated on a shore of the ocean, so through bedroom windows and balcony we saw only ocean, waves and had magnificent view. Food was excellent in the restaurant, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spotles. Highly recommended to everyone!!!!"

"We stayed in the studios which were compact but so comfortable, clean and well equipped with a sea view balcony too. We enjoyed the rooftop relaxing space and the spa and the hotel. It was a bonus to get passes to the pools, beach towels and dressing gowns. The included breakfast was fresh, varied and plentiful. There was nothing to fault about this place. It was our favourite out of 3 we stayed in during our holiday to Madeira. "

"Overall we had a great stay at the Estalagem do Mar. The staff was very friendly and helpful with last minute accommodations and present to help with any other needs. It was a 3 minute walk away from a little downtown area with restaurants, a convenience store, gift shop, and little stands that are open on the weekends. Would stay here again if we visit Madeira island again! Free parking on the facility was also a huge plus for us! "

"We had such a lovely staff. The staff was wonderful and welcoming with so much information to all of my questions while checking-in with a lovely welcome drink. We were super impressed with the breakfast serving freshly made waffles and pancakes. The ocean view from our room was amazing! We were also very impressed at how late the amenities stayed open which was fantastic after a long day of hiking."
