Clean, comfortable, and with great location

Clean, comfortable, and with great location (assuming you’ve made your way out to Porto Moniz). Has spa and sauna facilities available (fine but not amazing) and the staff are very nice. Breakfast is good and you get a little something cooked for you every day

Super friendly and helpful staff. A one block walk to the pools, dining etc made it very convenient. The included breakfast at the rooftop restaurant nearby was exactly the way to start your day!

The room was very nice and clean and the kitchenette was a great feature. Beautiful location with everything in walking distance. The included breakfast was really good and fresh. The rooftop was quiet and a nice spot to relax.

Great stay in Porto Moniz

Very nice stay in Porto Moniz! The studios were clean and confortable. The staff was really nice and very helpful. We used the pool and the restaurant from the other two aqua natura properties which were conveniently within walking distance.

The only downside to this hotel was that there's no airconditioning. The room was far too hot and the fan was far too loud. I don't think that's 4* worthy. The rest was very good! Very nice room, clean, good location!

Sounded good in theory, but I won't be coming back

Clean place, run by nice people, but overall more like 3,5 than 4 stars. The jacuzzi on the roof is lovely, but the pool facilities in the other hotel that guests have access are small and not very clean. The cooking facilities were very helpful, especially as restaurants in Porto Moniz are of poor quality, but beware of ants in the apartment - all food needs to be locked away carefully. The breakfast in the hotel next door is good and pretty varied (including custom cooked pancakes or omelettes), overlooking the ocean - my favourite part of the stay. This is not the hotel's fault, but a note to future visitors: do not come to Porto Moniz without a car, as public transport is non-existent and there are limited things to do from here (you also can't get Bolt, just regular, more expensive taxis). As the weather wasn't good enough for swimming and it turned out most of the local hiking paths were closed due to a recent wild fire, we decided to cut short our trip and return to Funchal half way through. The regular person at reception was great, but when we were leaving someone else was covering & must not have processed our check out properly, as three days later I was being called up by the hotel, asking me where I was and demanding payment for mini bar items, which we had settled when we left...

De accomodatie voldeed aan alle wensen; vriendelijk personeel, een heel nette kamer, goede locatie, heerlijk ontbijt,… Faciliteiten wat minder, maar de hikes errond zorgen ervoor dat dit minder belangrijk is. Het is een aanrader om daar te verblijven.

La chambre est très bien et le personnel de l'hotel aimable. Le jacuzzi sur le toit est top par contre le SPA de l'hôtel principale est un peu vieillot avec des mauvaises odeurs d'humidité. La ville de Porto Moniz n'est pas incroyable, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire le soir et les restaurants sont pour la plupart mauvais.

Wir waren für 10 Tage mit unserem 2 Jahre alten Sohn in Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und die kleine Küchenzeile gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war überaus freundlich, auf unserem Sohn sind die Mitarbeitenden immer eingegangen. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Hotelli on erittäin siisti, rauhallinen ja sijaitsi keskeisellä paikalla. Hotellista ei ollut suoraa näköyhteyttä merelle, mutta se ei haitannut. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja maukas. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Pysäköinti oli helppoa. Erityiskiitos erinomaisesta sängystä.

Superbra, prisvärt och supertrevlig

Studio är helt ny byggt, inredning var superfräsch. Allt var perfekt förberett med stora sköna sängar så att alla 5 fick bra med plats. Vi blev förvånade över att fanns två stora terrasser som var jätteskönt att sola på. Man fick morgonrockar och bra många handdukar osv. Det är en kedja på 3 hotellet, man kan använda facilitet på alla 3 hotell, inomhus bad på Bay hotell gjorde min dotter jätteglad. När vi hade badat i natural pool kunde vi även springa direkt in i Bay hotellet duscha varmt och basta, vilket var fantastiskt praktiskt. Personalen var supertrevliga, vi fick låna bad handdukar fastän vi hade redan checkat ut, hade vi problem så försökte dem sitt bästa för att lösa det. De hade presenter för oss under julafton. Frukost var också den bäst på ön med färskpressad kiwi och god omelett! Allt var bara suveränt bra! Rek starkt!

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage in dem Hotel und es hat uns super gefallen. Insbesonders praktisch war, dass wir jederzeit umsonst Wasser auffüllen konnten. Auch Parkplätze sind in dem Gesamtpreis inkludiert. Außerdem war es möglich die Pools/Räumlichkeiten der anderen beiden Schwesterhotels mit zu nutzen. Dass man zum Frühstück rüber zum Schwesterhotel musste hat uns Nichte gestört, dafür genießt man einen guten Ausblick.

Wir waren für vier Nächte dort und es war wundervoll. Ein sehr schöner Empfang, wir fühlten uns direkt willkommen. Im Hotel gibt es Snacks und Getränke. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet und auf dem aktuellen Stand. Alles ist einwandfrei sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist durchweg zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Die Lage in Porto Moniz ist sehr gut und das Gebäude auch äußerlich sehr ansprechend. Es gibt viele kleine Extras, die für einen besonders angenehmen Urlaub sorgen. Wir danken sehr und empfehlen als Paar das Hotel uneingeschränkt.
