"Love the bar area, the staff was great, but food at the restaurant not so good, the restaurant next store is much better. I wouldn't stay here again because of the bathroom, was way too small, I'm short and kept hitting myself trying to shower, there is no place to put shampoo or shower gel, anything you need to shower, you have to put them on the floor, reaching out with such a small space, was definitely a challenge. Loved the water view. Room very small."

"We often go to the Royal Marine Hotel for birthdays and anniversaries. It's a peaceful place with friendly staff and a good breakfast and dinner menu."

"Hotel was lovely run by a lovely family. Furnishing was very modern and quirky liked the decor in dining room and our bedroom was lovely decorated nice colours and very comfy. There was a great choice at breakfast and presented very well. Lots of smiles and asked if we slept ok. Definitely recommend this hotel and very close to a lovely beach and town centre."

"My single room on second floor was clean, comfortable and quiet....perfect for a good night's sleep. Hotel is well situated, just a 10 minute walk to the train station or a nip around the corner to the Nairn Museum. Breakfast was sufficient...partly self serve, partly hot; but staff was a little scarce so no second cup of coffee was to be found. No gluten free bread, but several GF cereals and plenty of other choices. If I am back that way again, I would rebook but stay for longer."

"Great location beside RDGC and you can watch the early starters whilst having breakfast! Hotel fine but should invest in room (I had a single on ground floor in main building) to be better. It was nothing more than average room/bed."

"Location was good. Check in process was easy. The beds were comfortable. I don’t prefer to degrade but I also want to be honest though. The room was falling apart. There is obvious water damage. Drywall was falling off walls and ceilings. Several old patches. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The bed and bathroom were mostly clean, but the carpet was full of hair and probably hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were several spider webs on the walls and stains on part of the comforters. Overall the place has got potential, but needs more attention to detail and overall maintenance. So, I’d only recommend it, depending what you’re paying for it."
