Have stayed here a couple of times before, but thought the apartment facilities were shabby and antiquated. Not happy to pay for wifi.

Great find!

Staff were very friendly & helpful - especially Nuno at Reception & staff/mgmt in pool bar resteraunt. Room was very spacious & comfortable - too many tables though. Lots of pool choices but they are in need of repair/maintenance. Not a very buggy friendly walk to Atlantic Pool Bar or Beach Food very tasty You need to get taxis to Alvor - 7E approx each way

Prainha Club has a very nice pool and beach and is within 5 minutes by car from touristic busy areas like Praia de Rocha or Alvor. The property itself is good but need refurbishment or upgrade, the system of the property needs to be upgraded, we are in 2024, we are not suppose to print rules & regulations and give this to customers on arrival. Charging fees for safe box in rooms is not acceptance. Wearing bands all day during the stay is not seen anywhere before. No porter to help you with bags, they said they removed them during Covid and haven’t hired them back. When you pay a high price for a room, you expect a certain service to be provided, specially that rooms are not cleaned everyday, it’s once every 3 days. If they refurnish and upgrade their policies, this property will be like paradise!

Mai 2025, peut être hors saison, mais, pas de ménage à la chambre malgré un sejour de 3 nuits, acceuil de base et cuisine peu equipée: pas de savon a vaiselle. Nous avons manqué de papier de toilette et dû garder les mêmes serviettes 3 jours malgré l'affiche "make this room"... confort et decor ok. Le resto carnicio tout près vaut le coût et la "plage" en bas des escalier et a couper le souffle. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la pisicine pres de la plage car fermée.

I love the position and the swimming pool is beautiful. The hotel is very tired though and the facilities are poor. Position is great and I would stay there again as amenities are available elsewhere. There are no recycling facilities which is a shame.

O local e zonas exteriores das piscinas e praia são muito bonitas e valem a estadia. As instalações do quarto são razoáveis, modernas e com cozinha bem equipada. No entanto há alguma falta de cuidado na manutenção: espreguiçadeiras da varanda velhas, colchões da cama moles, TV+comando a funcionar mal, faltas no serviço de limpeza. Nas piscinas também é necessário renovar algumas camas, principalmente da piscina atlântica pois são pagas e muitas delas já não estão em condições de ser utilizadas!

Han sido unos días geniales. El estudio es pequeñito pero muy apañado, la única pega es que en la terraza no tiene mesa y sillas. Las instalaciones del hotel están muy bien, piscina y playa sin salir del recinto prácticamente. Supermercado y 2 restaurantes también en el hotel, nada más que pedir para descansar y tener el máximo relax

Bra hotell med flott beliggenhet

Utmerket leilighetshotell i et behagelig rolig område. Nært strand, pool, tennisbaner, butikk og restauranter. Allikevel rolig. Fint med et lite kjøkken og stor terrasse. Lagde frokost selv. Frokosten på hotellet var ikke veldig fristende. Men nystekte croissant fra nærbutikken smakte bra. Prisen var og forbausende rimelig. Prøvde paddle tennis på en fin bane, men den var priset altfor høyt. Men generelt et veldig positivt opphold

Great grounds

The hotel was just in the process of being painted for the summer and was very quiet. The area is undergoing a lot of development but there are nice beaches and quiet places if you have a car. We had a one bedroom suite which felt slightly dated but fittings were in good condition and it had a nice balcony and view. The grounds are extensive with 2 pools a cave type beach bar, great little cove beach, cliffs and large grass areas. There was also a playground and tennis courts. The kitchen was adequate for occasional meals but had no proper oven and the two electric rings performed poorly, Slight annoyances were the coffee maker needed you to purchase their coffee pods, no free wi- fi in the room and they wanted 15 euros a week for the safe. We were a single couple but this would be a great place for a family as long as you have a car or just want to stay on site.

Worst bed ever in a beautiful place

The prainha clube is very well located and the facility by itself is great. Here's the bad comment about this place. The breakfast wasn't very good and too expensive. We stay there 2 nights and weren't capable to sleep due to a very uncomfortable mattress. You know when you feel the spring and my wife weight only 105lbs.. we informed the staff the next morning and they didn't do anything... very bad experience

Ins Alter gekommen....

Das Hotel stammt vermutlich aus den 70ern und das sieht man ihm auch an. Die Zimmer sind auf den Fotos weit besser präsentiert als dann in Wirklichkeit. Katastrophal sind die Fliesen in Bad und Küche, alle total schief von Haus aus oder schief verlegt. Die Möbel sind abgewohnt, den Kleiderschrank haben wir erst gar nicht benutzt. Balkon/Terrasse ist riesig, allerdings fehlt der direkte Zugang zum Pool vom Erdgeschoss. Auch dort sind teilweise Risse in den Fliesen und dem Mauerwerk. Reinigung war immer in Ordnung, Handtuch/Bettwäschewechsel hat stattgefunden. Allerdings waren Haare auf der Bettdecke zu finden. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr bemüht bei der Ankunft. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr sehr groß und weitläufig. Die Liegen am Pool sind gratis, aber auch schon sehr alt. Plätze gibt es immer. Die Liegen am Atlantikpool sind kostenpflichtig €8/Tag und sind somit reichlich vorhanden. Es gibt unter den Bäumen genug Liegeplätze. Der Strand ist über eine Treppe zu erreichen. Direkt vor dem Restaurant ist viel los. Auf Flut & Ebbe achten, oft sind die Liegeplätze schnell überschwemmt.

Sauberes Hotel, schöner Pool und Strand

Das Hotel war nur noch spärlich belegt. Es war deutlich zu spüren, dass das Hotel zwei Tage später "Winterruhe" hatte. Das Hotel ist sonst aber gut und ansprechend. Der Pool ist spitze und der Strand ist mit Aufzug zu erreichen. Es hat Buchten und lange Sandstrände.

Déçu à notre arrivée car ne correspondait pas aux photos vues sur expédia qui induisent en erreur.Point de petits appart ds style petites maisons à deux étages avec patio pr repas en extérieur. Immeuble un peu vétuste insonorisation nulle,le jour passait par la porte, chambres côté rue impression dormir sur le trottoir, balconnet impossible mettre table et chaises . Piscines, transats a rafraîchir et trop peu .heureusement tres belles plages à proximité. Appart assez grd literie très dure cuisine très mal équipée. femmes de service tres disponibles. Moyen pr un trois étoiles le cadre et environs on sauver nos vacances .

Quiet Location close to local amenities ****

We arrived well after midnight and had no trouble checking in. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished. We received clean sheets and towels during our 6 day stay and the main room and bathroom was cleaned every day except Sunday. The kitchen area is for the guest to do. Kettle, hob, microwave and coffee maker supplied but no toaster and tea cups not mugs which came as a surprise. The shop on site has everything you need and is open every day. Meals can be taken in the hotel or at restaurants on site. The fantastic beach is a short walk and quite a few steps (a lift is available when the restaurant is open but there are still steps top and bottom) away.
