"The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised."

"Right from walking through the door the hotel felt welcoming. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, a thoroughly excellent bunch of human beings. The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The automatic lights for getting around in the dark are an excellent touch, as is the low level lighting in the bathroom. Breakfast was a delightfully chilled-out affair, with a selection on offer that'd satisfy any palate or nutritional need. Special mention must go to the sausages. Loved our time there, and for such a short time we truly unwound. We'll certainly be back. 😉"
