Has changed a lot since last visited (10+ years ago) and this visit has changed my opinion of the town.
Lovely to visit Port Augusta - lot of places were closed due to the time of year, but still enjoyed being able to walk around the town with close proximity to the accommodation. Lovely outdoor areas in the town or on the foreshore for relaxing.
Don’t so much like Port Augusta itself but the accomodation was great
it sometimes gets a bad rap but I had an amazing time and wouldn't hesitate to come back
It was a base for Pichi Richi Railway and country around. The breakfasts and dinner we had in a Port Augusta pub and 2 cafe’s for breakfast served excellent food.
